Description
Hello Workawayers!
Thank you for checking out our WorkAway Profile. We have hosted on and off for the last few years and really enjoy participating in the WorkAway community when it fits in with our busy lives. The cultural exchange come naturally for us as travelers so we enjoy helping people have the best possible stay accross NZ.
The farm is our family homestead, we live on 6 acres in the Otunui Valled surranded by diverse farming and vast nature. We dream & strive to grow as much of our own food as possible—please note, it is not a commercial operation.
We’re currently looking for someone with childcare experience who also loves cooking. Our cheerful and chatty two-year-old daughter, Olive, needs a playmate for 2-3 hours a day. She enjoys reading books and playing outside.
In addition to childcare, there are other tasks around the farm, including cooking, vegetable gardening, and caring for our sheep and chickens.
Our farm is located 25 minutes west of Taumarunui in a rural setting. Having your own car is an advantage but not mandatory.
If you are trustworthy, friendly, and want to learn more about living in rural NZ then we welcome you to contact us.
Wishing you a wonderful day!
