We are happy to share with you our home located in midst of the stunning hills of naturepark São Mamede, where we have nearly 60 ha land around our house.
We moved to here two years ago from Germany, where we also had a farmproject.
We, Anne 47 (finnish) and Moriz (german) 52, work in invidual pedagogik with youngsters who are difficult to reach.
Our sons, Valentin 25 and Anton 22, also live here with us.
On our farm we have 3 horses, a dog and a cat.
The tasks are depending of person who is coming and what is currently going on here.
At the moment we mainly need help with building up some naturestone walls for flower- and vegetable beds.
We believe that independent, cuided, work ethics can create huge impact on our lives. That's why we invite everyone to try out also advanced craft technics, like welding or driving excavator and already had some girls here, who afterwards loved to do this things (-: But no worries, we are there to explain and guide you in the beginning. All we need is your motivation and hunger for experiences.
We prefer short-term requests, so please ask just if you are planning to come in next 4 weeks. Very short term, like 1-2 days before is usually also no problem(-:
Meals are served vegan/vegetarian.
For meat eaters we usually have some saugage available, or of course you can cook your own meal, if you need cooked meat.
Because we are private family, we cannot pay for work. We cannot write invitation letters for visa, because this has too many risks for us.

The best way to come here without car is per Rede Expresso bus from Lissabon to Portalegre. Let us know when you arrive and we pick you up from Portalegre busstation.
There are beautiful trails right outside the door, ideal for thosewho like to hike

All of the family members were so kind to me, helping for work was not so difficult, and I had my own accommodation :))
And especially the host, Moriz was awesome! He is familiar with and interested in Investment, Music and philosophy of life, which were very interesting… read more
She helped us in various construction task, amongst all installed electricity,
solarsystem and did plaster works.
It was such an honor to have her here, anytime again!
