Help
Short Term: Gorgeous rural setting in the Tweed Caldera area of NSW. which is full of wonderful bird life, and native animals. We are a 'young at heart' couple in our mid-60's and are seeking one or two fit people to help us with post flood regeneration planting and some bamboo harvesting, along with a little basic gardening maintenance. Knowledge of battery operated power tools helpful.
We do expect people to get up early and start work while the weather is cool, and not lie around for half the morning before work. Most work will be done before midday which gives you time to explore in the afternoon.Languages

A caravan with a Double bed is available although it is preferred that you have your own house on wheels that you can park on site. Meals to be discussed.
Showers/toilet facilities are at the main house. We live completely off grid- rain water tanks and small solar system so we do have certain rules regarding the use and maintenance of these and also have a composting toilet. What else ...
There is no public transport where we live so having your own vehicle is a must. Our local village is 10 minutes away and has the best coffee at the Post Office and a couple of great cafes along with an awesome little General Store which sells a great variety of locally produced goods and fresh organic produce. Murwillumbah is approximately 45 minutes away and we generally do our major shop once a week.
If you are keen bushwalkers there are some great tracks in the surrounding National Parks with wonderful areas of rainforest and waterfalls. The best beach in the world is only 45 minutes away and is good for surfing and swimming as well as fishing if you like that too. We are 1 hour from the Gold Coast airport and 1 hour from Byron Bay.A little more information
