Description

Hi, my name is Rosalie Weber and I am a 25 year old girl. I am a calm, friendly and hard‑working animal and nature lover from the Netherlands. I enjoy being outdoors, getting my hands dirty and learning new skills.

I graduated as a veterinary nurse and have gained a lot of experience through internships, paid work and volunteer projects. My passion is flora and fauna: working and relaxing in nature, preferably with animals around me. I am happy to help with most outdoor tasks such as farm work, gardening, agriculture, propagation, conservation, planting, pruning and general maintenance, and I also don’t mind doing some indoor tasks like cleaning, cooking or helping in the house.

Of course i aso have pets of my own! A few years back my mom and I adopted a cat named Spy and a dog named Hero. They were both abandoned and had a lot of trust issues towards humans. Together we took care of them and gave them all the love in the world. They are really happy now and are so much more comfortable with other humans than they were before which is amazing.

After working in the vet industry for a few months I decided I wanted to get out there before I settled down. I wanted to travel, expand my skillset, meet new people and see new places. That's why I am now looking for a welcoming place that will except my help and where I can grow as a person!

A few things that might give you a better picture of who I am and what my skills are:

- I have been a member of Scouting Netherlands since I was about five years old and have been leading a youth group for several years, so I am used to taking responsibility.

- I did an internship at a animal rescue centre in Hungary, where I helped with feeding, cleaning enclosures and supporting the animal keepers.

- I volunteered at a dog shelter in Sicily Italy, looking after troubled rescue dogs and helping with daily routines.

- I completed a sheep‑farm internship in lambing season in the Netherlands and did several internships at veterinary clinics.

- After finishing my studies I worked in paid employment at a veterinary practice.

- I have travelled through many countries like Vietnam, Japan, Canada and now New Zealand, so I am comfortable adapting to new places, cultures and house rules.
