We are an English and German couple in our early sixties. My mother who suffers from Alzheimer lives with us. Our place has 8000 sq m with a small forest and young olive trees. We still have a lot to learn about Agriculture and enjoy it very much.

You will meet many different people and see how they live, what is important to them. Also a good opportunity to practice the language.
Our town of 3000 inhabitants has a great community spirit. People here are helpful and always friendly and we like to give something back.We would like to help families, elderly with the olive picking. Last week in October and November.
A caravan with 2 double beds a toilet, TV etc and a room with a single bed in the house. We live on a smallholding with chickens and a vegetable garden. Food will be fresh. I have some standard recipes and I am looking forward to receive new ideas.
Pets are welcome.
You will have plenty of time to explore the area which is along the river Tejo. We offer bicycles which you can take on the Regional train. There is a train station, good bus connections and the Express bus stops here.
Obviously you will receive many tips and information while picking the Olives.
