I join Laura and Rolff house thanks to my boyfriend who was at their home for a workaway. So it wasn't planned but they welcomed me as a friend. I helped in the new house (reorgnised the kitchen, wash the new dishes and bed sheets...), helped them in the garden or everywhere they needed help.

Doriane stayed with us here on the ranch for about a month. She helped with many projects - some outdoor landscaping, organizing the barn, feeding animals and transforming the guesthouse on the property. Her English was very good, and we had no language barriers at all. Doriane underestimates her language ability! :)

Adri stayed with us for three weeks and we loved having her here with us. She is thoughtful and has a very warm personality. She was like family the moment we met! I am very grateful that I could stay at their beautiful place and have a bit of insight in the American culture. They taught me how to play pickleball (great teachers ;) ), and included me in other fun activities like game night dinner, movie nights, wine tasting, meeting their friends and family.
Their daughter, Abba, is also such a fun person to be around! We went out to concerts, kayak trip, walked in the redwoods and I was also lucky to be there for Halloween.
I am happy for getting to know such great people! Thank you for having me at your ranch, I hope I will have the chance to come back to visit! :)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We were well looked after and enjoyed every moment of our stay, especially the fun evenings out and about in the typical American small town of Lodi, the dinners and game nights together and the sporting adventures we had with Abigail.
