It was very nice to have Petra with us. She is a very skilled person and helped us a lot with a variaty of tasks like painting, isolating, setting up wooden planks, gardening, fixing an old table and even taking photos! She took every task and project with ownership and accomplished them with efficacy.

She is an independent person who has a good balance between socializing and having time for herself. We appreciated a lot her respect for the house, her genuine interest in our projects and her interaction with our cat Coco.
We totally recommend to host Petra as she is the perfect guest! Welcome back anytime :)
Angelina stayed with us for about 10 days, it was a short stay but it felt longer :)
She is a very positive and courageous person who is not afraid of taking challenges. We had great communication, it was easy to discuss the tasks and we had very nice conversations after working hours, sharing stories about her travels and the like. She is a very

She had different tasks outdoor and indoor, like painting and cleaning. She even helped us creating a video which was needed for personal reasons :) We appreciate her help and willingness to participate in our project!
We recommend having her as a volunteer and we wish her all the best on her beautiful journey :)
I only stayed for about one and a half weeks, but from the very first moment I arrived I felt completely at home. Emilia and Erlend are both incredibly warm, kind and caring people who make it super easy to settle in. They look after you so well, and I even got to stay in their beautiful tiny house, which was such a treat!
My main tasks were

All the tasks were always clearly communicated, and they made sure to keep me updated so I always knew what was going on. They also always prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner — we shared most meals together, which was such a nice routine. On top of that, Erlend even made me a lunch package for my trip back, which was just so thoughtful.
I also had the chance to test my beginner Norwegian skills a little (and finally learned to love Brunost!). In the evenings we had beautiful meditations together, which became a really lovely shared ritual to close the day.
Beyond that, I got to meet Emilia’s brother, Erlend’s cousin and some of their friends, which made me feel even more included in their social life. We had so many inspiring conversations, and it’s just very easy to connect with them — you can feel right away that they are truly kindhearted people.
I was honestly sad that I couldn’t stay longer. Their vision for the place is so exciting and inspiring, and I wish them nothing but the best for everything they are creating. I’d love to come back one day and see how it has all grown and evolved! 😊
The time with Emilia and Erlend was amazing! We came as workawayers and left as friends.
You can feel that they really want to do good in the world and respect nature and every being. Both are very relaxed and you can learn so much from them and their happy relationship.

We initially planned to stay about two weeks and ended up staying three and a half (Marci even longer) because we just didn't want two leave.
The tasks were interesting and they always looked out for us so we didn't have to do exhausting things many days in a row. Also the tasks were discussed every morning so everyone knew what to do. We learned so much stuff and became even more handy with tools, wood, stones and paint.
There is always something to do on a big property like this and we got a glimpse into farmlife that was really enjoyable and had an influence on our perspective. Norwegian and also Argentinian culture were a part of our experience as well. We got to know different dishes, talked about TV shows of every country, got to know the family, had a barbecue together, did some yoga and spent every evening meditating together (on a voluntary basis). We felt at home frome the first day on and cried when we had to leave.
You won't regret helping them out and they will always respect you so don't hesitate to write them :)

Erlend, on the other hand, is very calm and always ready to take you to new and fascinating places. Thanks to him, I discovered stunning landscapes and hidden gems that truly made my experience unforgettable.
I also had the pleasure of meeting some of their relatives and friends, which gave me the opportunity to exchange cultural perspectives and enrich my experience even further.
As for the work, I had the chance to try out several different tasks, which helped me improve my practical skills as well. They are also very reliable people who respect the agreements and never asked me to work more than what was initially discussed.
