Description
Don. I have a farm situated near national parks and beaches. Close to white water rafting, jet boating, fishing, seal colonies etc . I enjoy fishing and sailing. Gay friendly environment . The farm is run as non profit and is self sufficient in its power being solar electric as well as the hot water vacuum tubes. I can teach you about solar systems as well as organic principals of farming sustainably . I planted a lot of trees 40 years ago that I harvest for timber and firewood . Most of the work I would like help with is in the extensive orchard areas and firewood . There are also tracks to maintain one of which is the historic miners track that leads to a man made dam at the rear of the property , this track is used by cavers and school groups .
The farm boarders the Paparoa National park and is only minutes walk to beaches and a short way to the fantastic Nile Valley caves . Some really nice walks around the area. If you agree to arrive on a certain day please let me know if you cannot make it . Or if you changed plans as I would normally get provisions in for you . The farm supports the struggle of the Palestinian's and we are unlikely to approve any zionists on the property . The farm is very close to Charleston on the Coastal highway 6. not as shown on the map on this site .
