    Description

    Hello everyone,

We are a small family of four: Sol, Mar, Cielo—my three cats—and myself.

    🌿 Long-term hosting opportunity – minimum stay of 3 months 🌿

I am an Ecuadorian woman looking for a responsible, kind, and trustworthy person or couple to help care for my home, my cats, and my garden while I travel.

This arrangement is based on mutual respect, consideration, honesty, and good communication. I want the person staying here to feel comfortable and welcome, but I also expect the same level of care and respect toward my home, my animals, and the few house rules we have.

Please understand that our rules are simple, but they are not negotiable.

    🐾 Cat-care responsibilities

The most important responsibility is caring for Sol, Mar, and Cielo.

    The right person should:

    - Have previous experience caring for cats.
    - Feel comfortable living closely with them.
    - Be happy for the cats to enter and spend time in the bedroom.
    - Have experience giving oral medication or be confident doing so carefully and consistently.
    - Feed them every day according to their routine.
    - Keep their bowls, beds, litter areas, and living spaces clean.
    - Observe their health and behavior and inform me immediately if anything seems unusual.
    - Give them affection, attention, cuddles, and companionship.

The cats are part of my family, so this is not simply a house-sitting position. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys living with and caring for cats.

    🌱 Other responsibilities
Watering the plants and caring for the garden.
Keeping the accommodation and shared areas clean and organized.
Providing occasional light help around the house when needed.
Respecting the property, the surrounding nature, and the local community.

    🏡 About the place
You will stay in a beautiful and peaceful house with an ocean view, located between Puerto López and Montañita.
The area is quiet and surrounded by nature, while still being reasonably connected:
Public transportation is available to nearby towns and Montañita.
The village is approximately 15 minutes away on foot.
The beach is approximately 25 minutes away on foot.

    🌊 What we offer
    Free and reliable internet.
    A private kitchen.
    A clean and comfortable bed.
    A private bathroom.
A peaceful environment surrounded by nature.
    A respectful and welcoming home.

    🤍 Important conditions
No drug use of any kind.
No visitors are allowed inside the property.
A responsible, respectful, and peaceful lifestyle is essential.
    Minimum age: 30 years.
Minimum stay: 3 months, with preference given to longer-term stays.
The agreed responsibilities and house rules must be respected throughout the entire stay.

We are not looking for someone who simply needs free accommodation. We are looking for a reliable person who understands that this is a commitment involving living animals, a private home, and mutual trust.

Please contact me only if you meet these conditions and feel genuinely comfortable with the responsibilities involved.

    Warm regards,
    Celi

We are looking for someone we can truly trust—someone who genuinely loves cats and enjoys spending time with them.

While I am away, the main responsibility will be caring for my three cats: Sol, Mar, and Cielo. The minimum stay is three months.

    The responsibilities include:

Feeding them every day according to their routine.
    Cleaning their litter boxes regularly.
Providing fresh, clean water every day.

We are not only looking for someone to stay in the house. We need a responsible, caring, and reliable person who understands that the cats are part of the family and who will enjoy looking after them with patience and love.

Around the town there is great opportunity for exploring the beaches and local flora and fauna. Surfing is known to be very good in the area and is still largely unknown to most tourists. If you are looking for a great whale watching experience, then Ayampe is a must stop for you. Puerto Lopez, the near small-city is known to have some of the best whale watching opportunities on the coast. The migration of the humpback whale takes place from June to September.
Puerto Lopez is also the gateway to Parque Nacional Machalilla. This large protected park created in 1979 also incorporates Isla de la Plata.

    Mar

Mar is a very calm, gentle, and affectionate female cat. She is approximately three years old and is the mother of Sol and Cielo.

She does not require any special care. She simply needs regular meals, fresh water, a clean litter box, companionship, and plenty of love. Mar enjoys a peaceful environment and being treated with patience and kindness.

She is an easygoing and loving cat who will happily share her affection with someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals.

    Cielo

Cielo is a healthy, young male cat, approximately one and a half years old. He is Sol’s brother and Mar’s son. He is an important part of our family and needs someone who will treat him with patience, affection, and respect.

He enjoys having a calm and safe environment, fresh water, clean litter boxes, regular meals, and daily companionship. We are looking for someone who will spend time with him, observe his behavior, and make sure he feels comfortable and cared for while I am away.

    Sol

Sol is a young female cat, approximately two years old. She is Cielo’s sister and Mar’s daughter. Sol is FIV-positive and currently needs a little more attention because she has some facial ulcerations, although she eats well and is generally doing fine.

She needs a calm, caring, and responsible person who can follow her feeding and medication routine carefully, observe any changes in her health or behavior, and inform me immediately if something seems unusual.

Sol is part of the family and deserves patience, affection, companionship, and gentle care. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable spending time with her and giving her the attention and security she needs while I am away.
