    Description

I am retired and live just 200m from the Big Manly Beach on the Whangaporoa Peninsula, about 40 mins from the Auckland Harbour Bridge. I have a spacious 3 Bedroom home and I share it with my two awesome small dogs. There is a fabulous Village in Manly with everything you'll need and a great bus service just 5mins up the road that connections to Auckland Airport and surrounding Auckland region. There is a regional park, loads of walks, cafe's and friendly people here on the coast.
I need a bit of help with a few things around the house and garden, I have all the gear I just need the muscle! I'm new to this and have yet to host anyone but I'm a people person and I'd love to hear about your home country and your travels. I offer a private room and own bathroom, free meals and internet etc.

Big Manly is a boating, Wind surfing, Paddle boarding beach with a Sailing Club nearby. There are numerous other beaches on the Peninsula and it is such a safe and friendly community. I am a bit of a DIYer and so have loads of tools and knowledge to share.

    Help

I have plenty of skills for the jobs I need doing, just not enough muscle to do them on my own. I will work alongside you, I promise you won't be asked to do any tasks that a professional should do, just basic gardening and house maintenance. Safety is a priority and I have safety gear where required

You'll have your own room and bathroom and I will provide all your meals. I organise an area in the fridge for any special dietary requirements and food for your breakfast/snacks etc. I'm happy to make lunch and dinner and we can decide together what the menu will look like (I'm not a fussy eater) if you'd like to share in the cooking that would be great too!

    What else ...

Public transport is great and there is a ferry that can take you to Auckland City, the bus is only a 2minute walk from my house.
There is a lovely beachy town close by called Orewa and it has an Art Gallery, loads of shops, restaurants and cafe's.
