We are a Christian organization with a children's home and feeding centers in rural Costa Rica. We are located in the mountains in the town of Santa Maria de Dota two hours drive from the San Jose airport. Our zone produces some of the world's best coffee and 90% of our local economy is based on the production of coffee. Many of the children whom we serve are the children of indigenous migrant workers.

We need help with everyday household work in the children's home. Volunteers also to help out in our feeding centers. No cooking will be required. We just need some extra hands to pitch in and help out.

Our local coffee shop was rated by Lonely Planet as one of the top ten places in the world to get a cup of coffee. A short bus ride to the capital and you can easily plan excursion to the pacific coast, volcanoes and other tourist attractions. If you like nature half of our Canton (county) is a national park which offers hiking, bird-watching and generally enjoying nature.
