    Description

Boutique resort in the Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica. We are a small luxury resort mostly catering to large groups such as weddings, divorce parties, family reunions, birthday parties. We have 3 salt-water pools and extensive gardens. There are dogs and street dogs, so if you are afraid of dogs, this will not work for you. We provide all-inclusive options for our guests and because we are boutique, we are able to craft special and unique experiences. An oasis hidden amongst the other businesses nearby. We are a 3-minute walk to the beach. Our goal is to continue to be very considerate of how we can make a luxury experience in Costa Rica when materials are limited. The owners are a designer and an engineer.

Opportunities: The availability of these is dependent on the season.

At least one month commitment. We can do longer stays depending on what you want to do.

    - Mural help (no experience necessary! paint by numbers. We have a really boring looking concrete wall)

    - Hospitality help

    - General tidying

    - Gardening (we are considering getting chickens! and a veggie/herb garden- we already have fruit)

    - Content creation (only available in offseason)

From June-November: we have some groups but not a ton so we'll be focusing on special projects

    The Team:
Tactical team is 5 full-time people and 3 part-time such as: Lead cleaner, Lead F&B, Lead Facilities, Spa, Guard. Associate Operations.

    The family:
Mom, dad, kiddo, and grandma. There are doggos as well: Falkor, Boots, and Jupiter. Jupiter is mostly at the resort. We sometimes bring Boots over to play with him and Cat. Falkor is a Cavalier and 12 years old. Cat just showed up one day and hasn't left. She fights raccoons but is generally sweet to humans. She is an outdoor cat and lives at the resort, at least we think she does.

There is a distributed administrative team that is not local that assists with Intake and other services.

We can accept groups traveling together but not families with children.

    Message answer recommendations:
We get a lot of messages and we have a set of questions you can send us answers to that will help us with screening. If you are traveling in a group of 2, we ask you answer separately. This is for planning of roles.

Quiet afternoon and there are no guests but you have a shift, what would you be interested in doing around a hotel?

AI/ML/ChatGPT responses will be immediately rejected. Your AI won't show up for a cultural exchange, we ask you to show up authentically in messaging.

We are a 3-minute walk to the beach and right on the main strip with shops, restaurants, grocery. You can take the bus or take a taxi to Tamarindo for night life, which is about 30 minutes away. From the property, you can walk to 3 different nearby beaches, one rocky, one white sand, one normal. There are 5 beaches within a close distance. You can take sailing lessons at the shop nearby, rent a moto bike or bicycle. There are yoga and Pilates classes nearby and massages on the beach. The bus is the least expensive transport, we do have phone numbers for local taxis. There are some beautiful places in the jungle with hot springs etc that we recommend you go to for an overnight trip.
