South Wairarapa is a vibrant part of New Zealand with many small towns full of activities and opportunities. Martinborough Wine Village is a centre of many boutique vineyards producing high quality wines. The other small towns like Greytown and Carterton are very popular with Wellington visitors for their cafes, shopping and atmosphere. There are great hiking trails in Tararuas , great fishing and swimming at Castle Point, seal colony and lighthouse in Cape Palliser. Wellington is only 100km away - so easy drive to the capital city of NZ.
