  We are Anna-Lena, Mauricio y Mateo, and we are excited to share our project here in Nicaragua. In 2023 we asked for your help to decorate our house for our wedding. Now two years later, we have a very curious kid product of our love and also your help. Now we are going to build our garden/house this year and we need your help to make this place even more beautiful than it is. We are excited to share our lives with you.

  You will learn how rural families in Nicaragua live, specially in this beautiful area full of nature. You will enjoy a relaxed life Nica style. You can learn about insects, and birds common in this area; the Guardabarranco, the national bird, is abundant in this area. If you are planning to learn Spanish, I am happy to help you with that. If you know any other languages, I am happy to know about them.

  Help

  I inherited a ground from my mom. It's a beautiful place to be and we want to build a beautiful kitchen and garden. We are planning to build first our outdoor kitchen and we need from your help and your ideas. The garden needs also some love, new plants, and any of the ideas you could bring. If you know about carpentry, that would help a lot!

  Accommodation

  The place is far away from the city, it is very calm and surrounded by nature. There are nice walks to the mountains and, if we are lucky, we can see very interesting animals. The house is now looking amazing with the help of Jenni & Laslo, and Max & Oce. We have a kitchen, nice bedrooms and a beautiful and nice place to stay. Guests have been loving it so far. My whole family lives in the surroundings and although they don’t speak English, they are happy to try to talk to you.

  What else ...

  We have beautiful hikes to the mountains and hills. The bus stop to León, a very touristic city, is relatively close from here. Transport to Managua is available just next to our property at 5:30 and 8:00. Also you can get a Tuk-tuk to the main road and then a bus that goes to Managua. The place is generally very quiet. You can always listen to the song of the roaster. At night, the grasshopper are very relaxing.
