Hello! Finlay and I are a Welsh couple, currently exploring Central America.

We are outgoing, hardworking and easy going with experience of living abroad and working alongside one another! We’re accustomed to adapting to new environments and growing together.

I, Amelia, am a very people-oriented person. Family and friends are a huge part of my life, and the connections I make while travelling are what truly inspire me.

Finn and I have spent the last three years in Canada, exploring British Columbia and Alberta—skiing, hiking, and spending time in nature. We spent the last month in Mexico and are now exploring Guatemala.

Moving around and starting new jobs every six months helped us integrate into different communities and highlighted how well we adapt in different situations. We love meeting new people, and learning from different cultures and ways of life.

I studied sociology and criminology at university, which deepened my passion for understanding people and communities. I like to learn about the world through others’ perspectives. I enjoy stepping into new environments, challenging myself, and gaining knowledge about things I didn’t even know I was curious about.

Finn shares the same values! He genuinely loves making others smile and brings a positive energy into any space. He takes a lot of pride in his work, whether it’s through his trade as an electrician or the different jobs we’ve taken on while travelling. Doing a job well and seeing the results motivates him deeply. He's committed and gives his all into everything he tries. Fin is also family & friend oriented, always putting others first!

We love travel, community, continuous learning and meaningful work. We also love chatting, having fun and eating food!

We will attend a Spanish school in Xela for a week where we hope to pick up some basics and would love to learn a bit more whilst travelling this part of the world. We're more than happy to help others with English too!

My background is mainly in guest-experience roles such as reception, serving, housekeeping and events coordination. I love organisation, cleaning, and making guests feel welcome.

I also enjoy working with kids and have experience with babysitting. I’m friendly, positive, enthusiastic and encouraging. I’m a big fan of cooking and am always happy to help in the kitchen or around the house.

Fin is a fully qualified electrician, which makes him extremely practical, hands-on, and confident with general maintenance and problem-solving.

He’s worked as a bartender and in front-of-house roles over the last few seasons, so he’s great with people and easily adapts to new environments.

He’s logical, switched on, and always willing to help with whatever needs doing. Like me, he loves cooking and is great around the house.
