We live in a 100 year old Finca between two small towns, Monda and Guaro, near Malaga and the coastline around Marbella. Our kids are 7 and 11 years old and we speak English at home, as Rob is from Canada and Henriette is Danish.
Our property is 1.1 hectare (2.7 acres) consisting of almond and olive trees, and depending on the season we also have mangos, avocados, kiwis, oranges, lemons, figs, vegetables in the garden and even some chickens and a peacock.
We are nearly finished renovating the house and always have projects to do. Right now it would be good to have some skilled trades people who know something about how to finish details on some projects in the kitchen. Also, an electrician would be a godsend! Our pool needs to be retiled and there is always painting to be done inside and out.
In one end of the house we have two guest rooms and a bathroom, which is where you would stay.

You will be here in sunny Spain surrounded by beautiful nature. Our household language is English, but if you venture into the local villages you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your Spanish.
We are renovating our house and need help with the finishing touches. Skilled trades people are ideal at the moment, however we also welcome anyone enthusiastic and willing to help wherever needed. Also, if you have a talent in the kitchen and can make great meals, this is very welcome! We are slowly moving to a plant based diet, however as a family, we still eat most everything.
English, danish, German, spanish
In one end of our house we have 2 guest rooms with 2 double beds and a newly renovated bathroom. This is where you would stay. Food will be provided and you will make your own breakfast and lunch. Dinner we generally have together and who cooks it, we can figure out as we go along. If you have skills in the kitchen this is welcome and we count this as part of your time for helping around the house and property.
It is a 1km walk into the nearest small village, Guaro, and 3kms to Monda. There are regular busses to Marbella, which is half an hour drive away. From there you can get to anywhere on the coast, so lots to explore in your time off!
