We are a family with two children (11 and 8 years old). We are building an ecological house made of hempcrete, lime plaster, woodwork, gray water, mini forest, natural mini-lake, and more...
We would love to have help with the house building and give you the opportunity to learn how to work with this kind of material.
We live in the heart of the desert of Israel, on a beautiful Cleef. There are more volunteers and travelers around in different projects of other families in the village.
The dessert here is beautiful and the weather now days is perfect.
You are welcome to be a part.

Help with Eco Projects
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
We will work and eat together. There are many topics that we will learn together. We will bring experts where needed, and you will be able to learn together with us.
The desert is beautiful and many travelers are around. We are sure you'll have a great time!
We also owners of an organic shop, and you will be able to help there if you like, meet many locals, talk to them, and learn more about organic food and a healthy diet.
We are building our home from scratch. You will have the opportunity to build a wood construction (there is a metal construction already, and the wood construction is for the hempcrete). Then we will work on the water pipes and on the electricity. After we will build the hempcrete walls and roof. Then we will work on the plumbing, including gray-water collection system. After we will build the floor from wood or cork or natural stone (in different parts of the house).
In the garden, we will build together mini forest and a mini natural lake.
We want to build a green roof, but we are not sure yet. If you have any experience with this we will be happy to learn from you!
We are renting a nice room in neighbors house just for you, with a shower and bathroom, and small kitchen.
We also have a field kitchen in the building area that you will be able to use freely.
You can get to us by one bus from Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Beer-Sheva, and Eilat. In your spare time, you can travel the desert, go to Eilat, go to Beer-Sheva, go to the Dead-Sea, meet other travelers who stop by while there are traveling Israel-Path, or just having fun in the village.
