    Description

This is a family run establishment which gives international young riders the opportunity to come to county Donegal to improve their riding and English language skills. This is the ideal opportunity for the horse loving teenager to work on their knowledge and care of horses and to have fun in a friendly, safe and open environment, surrounded by horses and equestrian activity.

Lots of girls from Austria, Germany, France and Belgium have been working here before and they all had a great experience.
We are looking for someone who has at least the basic knowledge of working with horses (leading a horse, grooming, tacking up, mucking out stables and feeding) If you can ride it is a big plus as we have 4-6 horses you can ride / work with.
In total we have 13-14 horses all the time, so it is a lot of work especially in winter when the horses are brought in.
You‘ll get 2 days off per week, the rest of the 5 days are 8 hour working days. We also pay a wage every week.

Workawayers will have two days off every week, which they can use to explore this beautiful country. The stables is not far from Northern Ireland which also gives travellers the opportunity to see a bit of N.I. We also live on a working farm which gives people the opportunity to see how a farm in Ireland is working.
