    Description

In the beautiful Auvergne, the Puy de Dôme to be precise, we have a lovely old water mill on the Sioule River. An elongated property along the river of about 1 hectare offers us the opportunity to become self-sufficient. A dream I have had for some time.

In 2020, our story began with the purchase of the mill, first as a vacation home and from December 2022 as our permanent home! From then on, I could go all out on the property.

The idea? A self-sufficient home in all areas and a property where we can grow, cultivate or raise anything so we don't have to go to the supermarket anymore!

At this moment we have chickens and a rooster, 2 piglets, a cat and we are preparing the first bits of land for a vegetable garden. We would like to build a big greenhouse, a shed and renovate the cellar of the house to make a big working kitchen.
