Description
We are Ibon from Euskadi, Gala from Venezuela and our 4 year old boy Odei. We are a family leading a life based on sustainability, guiding ourselves through the principles of permaculture, and basically love and respect for Nature. We are nature lovers, and enjoy activities such as surfing, reading, cooking, gardening, taking care of animals, walking, yoga, etc. we are very calm and chill people.
We had an agritourism project bassed in: nature, self-reliance, permaculture and art. We had built ourselves during the last 14 years our home and other 4 beautiful wooden houses (we use to rent as agro turism), but 2 years ago everything was burned in a big wildfire on the area. So now we are building slowly everything again.
The land has 3.5 hectares full of trees , it has a privileged location, only 25 minutes away from the beach. Alentejo is a beautiful area with many beaches and places to discover. We are very close to Ajezur(30 min away) and also Odeceixe (25 min away) .

Accommodation
We offer a tent with mattress and pillows and bed clothes. They will a have access to our bathroom anytime! but we can’t accomodate the workawayers inside since we live in a tinyhouse .I know is not ideal the accommodation, in other opportunities we have offered a cabin but this time is not available now, this is why we look for workaways that have their campervans or are willing to live the adventure of sleeping in a tent close to our house in the forest.
We offer 3 meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) also snacks between meals , 7 days per week. They are treated as another member of our family.
What else ...
Helpers in their time off can join us to the beach, relax, read, enjoy walks in nature, have good conversations with us. They are free to do as they like.

After a bad experience at a kitesurf lodge, Gala, Ibon and the little Odei, brought back hope to my journey. I hadn't felt so looked after and cared for in a while and I'd definitely recommend paying them a visit and help them out with their project. I hope to be back… read more
