Description
We are Ibon from Euskadi, Gala from Venezuela and our 2 year old boy Odei. We are a family leading a life based on sustainability, guiding ourselves through the principles of permaculture, and basically love and respect for Nature. We are beach and nature lovers, enjoy activities such as surfing, reading, cooking, gardening, taking care of animals, walking, yoga, etc. we are very calm and chill people.
We had an agritourism project bassed in: nature, self-reliance, permaculture and art. We had built ourselves during the last 14 years our home and other 4 beautiful wooden houses (turism), but last year everything was burned because of wildfires. We were left with nothing but ashes and our land. So now we plan to start all over again. This time make stronger constructions against fire. This is where we need help! Building our home (bio-construction), we plan on doing it completely ourselves. Also we need help in cleaning the land (a lot of dead trees because of the fire).
The land has 3.5 hectares full of trees , it has a privileged location, only 25 minutes away from the beach. Alentejo is a beautiful area with many beaches and places to discover. We are very close to Ajezur(30 min away) and also Odeceixe (25 min away) .
