    What you could do:
As we have an almost 5 year old child, we are looking for a workaway-person who wants to stay at least 2-3 weeks. From June onwards, we are particularly looking for someone with a dab hand to craft a wood shelf in our kitchen corner and could maintain / repair our bikes.

    Why we are hosting:
In summer 2024 our family (me, my partner and my child) tried workaway as a family for the first time. We had a really fantastic stay in Switzerland, we still regularly remember.
Now that we are back in our everyday life in Berlin, we would love to host a workawayer to also use this opportunity for us to bring some colourful variation into our regular daily routines.

    Our place:
We live in the district with the most families in Berlin. You find a lot of lovely parks around our area, great bike ways that quickly lead you into the rural neighbourhood of Brandenburg, lovely cafés and restaurants and a superb connection to public transport that takes you to central Berlin in a few minutes.
As Berlin's housing prices have rocketed over thae last decade, our flat is very representative for a big city with small rooms and a rather "efficient" set-up. It is 80m² and has three bedrooms and a living room. So we will live very closely together. However, you will have your own small bedroom and we will do our best to provide your private bathroom/toilet. The shower would be shared.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We love to get to know other people and their stories and culture. We are all Germans. Nadine has travelled a lot in her life and has lived in various countries.

We will be happy to show you around the area here and provide suggestions e.g. city tours, places to go, hikes, parks etc.

Nadine speaks English and is happy to get some practice again as it is getting rusty.
Marcel's English is more basic, Lillie speaks German only, but I assume with kids language learning comes quickly.

So if you want to learn German - this is the place to be.
