Description
We have a semi rural property in the Oxford township. We like to grow most of our own food and raise our own cattle. When we can we like help those in need.
The Oxford area offers great day walks (and longer ones too), beautiful rivers and local's only knowledge on the good swimming holes. We are a couple of kayak enthusiasts (with spare kayaks) and we are animal friendly/lovers and have 3 dogs that are ferociously affectionate ;). We are relatively close to Christchurch city and Rangiora. Oxford is a great place to use as a base to visit the West Coast too.Types of help and learning opportunities

We have farming, soil health and gardening, building and mechanic skills we can share. We are happy to cook for you or you can use a separate facility of your own.
We are always open to learning new ways/approaches to task to help build efficiency. Hopefully a second pair of hands means a job is halved.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We would love a bit of support in the garden, the odd bit of yard work, and maybe a bit of painting. A hammer-hand is always helpful and so is a bit of initiative and can do attitude. We will likely be sharing skills along the way and learning from each other.

Sometimes we might have sheep roaming around.
