Hello lovelies,
After living and travelling in several European countries over the last few years, we have fulfilled a dream this year and bought a farmhouse, which includes a charming 2 hectares of land.
We live here in the beautiful Wendland with our 2 sons, who are 7 and 13 years old.
We also have 2 dogs, 4 cats, a few chickens and 6 ordinary pigs - but real pigs that have spent their lives on a breeding farm and are allowed to spend the rest of their lives here.
We also have 3 dwarf goats and 4 sheep.
We would like to set up a small farm with some self-sufficiency, within the realms of possibility. We live purely vegan and expect at least the same from our guests when they are here.
Animals are welcome, although our female dog can sometimes be a bit bitchy, but it shouldn't be a problem with male dogs. Otherwise you just have to see how it goes. There have never been any really big arguments.
We are quite relaxed people, like to chat, but also work a lot, are politically left-wing (important!), are not spiritually very receptive - sorry :/ But we respect everyone.
We can use help with a lot of things that would go beyond the scope. But you can find some things further down in the list. If you are interested in country life, animals and half-timbered houses with clay construction, you've come to the right place :)
We are not professionals and are doing a lot of things for the first time, but we don't expect professionals either, but that you try out new things together.
Children are of course welcome if they can be integrated into the daily routine and you have enough space in the large double bed (1.80x2m).
If individuals come, we have a small guest room and soon we will have a converted caravan in the garden.
But we like to sit together for dinner or in the evening and chat, drink the odd (non-alcoholic) beer, coffee, lemonade, water and like to socialise with others and are sociable people - really!
Hallo ihr Lieben,
nachdem wir die letzten Jahren in einigen europäischen Ländern gelebt haben und gereist sind, haben wir uns dieses Jahr einen Traum erfüllt und uns ein Bauernhaus gekauft, dazu gehören charmante 2 Hektar Land.
Wir wohnen hier im schönen Wendland mit unseren 2 Söhnen, sie sind 7 und 13 Jahre alt.
Ausserdem haben wir 2 Hunde, 4 Katzen, ein paar Hühner und 6 gewöhnliche Schweine- allerdings so richtige richtige Schweine, die ihr bisheriges Leben in einem Zuchtbetrieb verbracht haben und hier ihr restliches Leben verbringen dürfen.
Ausserdem haben wir noch 3 Zwergziegen und 4 Schafe.
Wir möchten uns einen kleinen Lebenshof aufbauen mit etwas Selbstversorgung, eben im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten. Wir leben rein vegan und erwarten das zumindest auch von unseren Gästen, wenn sie hier sind.
Tiere können gerne mitgebracht werden, wobei unsere Hundedame manchmal etwas zickig sein kann, mit Rüden sollte es aber kein Problem sein. Ansonsten muss man einfach schauen, wie es passt. Wirklich grossen Streit gab es noch nie.
Wir sind recht entspannte Menschen, quatschen gerne, arbeiten aber auch viel, sind politisch links ( wichtig !), sind nicht spirituell gross empfänglich- sorry :/ Wir respektieren da aber jeden.
Wir können Hilfe bei vielen Dingen gebrauchen, dass es den Rahmen sprengen würde. Einige Dinge findet ihr aber weiter unten in der Liste. Wer Lust auf Landleben, Tiere und Fachwerk mit Lehmbau hat, ist hier richtig :)
Wir sind keine Profis und machen vieles zum ersten Mal, wir erwarten aber auch keine Profis, sondern dass man gemeinsam Neues ausprobiert.
Kinder sind natürlich willkommen, wenn sie in den Alltag integriert werden können und euch der Platz im grossen Doppelbett ( 1,80x2m ) reicht.
Wenn Einzelpersonen kommen, dann haben wir ein kleines Gästezimmer und bald haben wir einen ausgebauten Bauwagen im Garten.
Wir sitzen aber gerne zum Essen oder Abends so zusammen und quatschen, trinken auch gern das ein oder andere ( alkoholfreie) Bier, Kaffee, Limo, Wasser und mögen den Austausch mit anderen und sind gesellige Menschen- echt!

Accommodation
We currently always offer the large children's room to 2 or more people. Otherwise we have a very small guest room which is nice for a single person.
We offer breakfast and 1 cooked meal, free food is available throughout the day.

Wandern, Radfahren, es gibt einige schöne Orte wie Lüchow, Salzwedel, Lüneburg, Uelzen, Gartow. Ausserdem gibt es einige kulturelle Veranstaltungen in der Umgebung.

It rained a lot when we tried to climb up the vegan hills wih our caravan and it looked a bit confuse in the first moment. But after a few hours we got used to it.

They did a lot of work, like painting, building a pizza ofen, repairing machines and a lot of other tasks. Franka and Rico are always relaxed :) We hope that they will visit us again.
