Description
I am from Puerto Rico, left and came back after 40 yrs. My husband Tom and I were lucky to be able to purchase a mountaintop in my home town of Aibonito. Our land was overtaken by the forest, we have worked together to improve the land. We would like to start a vegetable garden (we have many fruit trees on the land). We will be putting in a road to access other areas and will be building aircrete domes. We have a full house, oversized gazebo and outdoor kitchen. We have 2 goats, Coco & Nilla, 2 dogs, Remus & Kala and some chickens. Our view is amazing and relaxing! So you can relax, recharge when not working. We are extremely flexible with our daily schedule.

Help
At the moment:
We need help with general house tasks; painting, stenciling, webbing, power washing, replacing door knobs & light bulbs, and other small property maintenance. Outdoor lawn maintenance including lawn trimming, cutting, weeding, planting and general lawn care. We have a lot of "Escombros" (large garbage) to be removed from the property. Maintenance of our roads to keep accessible for every day use. We would love for you to help us with the goats, Coco and Nilla. I would love to start a vegetable garden area. We are also interested in creating a few rain collection system.
***I am currently looking for someone to train my 2 Weimaraner dogs. Kala and Remus.***
**Our "dome" project is on hold for the moment and our Road project is based on the schedule by our contractor. Please visit us again if you are interested in any of these.
We are looking for help building our air-crate blocks for our future domes that we will be working on next summer. We will also be building a road from the mountaintop to the building area so we can then build our domes. This work is done with our contractor and on his schedule.Languages

We have a 4 bedroom house. Two of them set up for you and a 2nd guest. You will have your own bed and a place for your personal items. The bathroom will be shared with the house. We also have a large tent in the event that we get multiple guest. You will have a comfortable place to sleep (in the tent) and it's at the main house so you will have access to all the accomodations. You will have access to the laundry room and fully equipped kitchen. We have an outdoor gazebo, a large balcony and many, many hammocks for you to chill. We will provide you with 3 meals a day, we will have dinner for you, breakfast and lunch is on your own (we will provide the food)
What else ...
During your time off you are welcome to explore the property and relax on the hammocks. We can take you for a grocery run (local in town) and we can plan a one day trip for you to see the various sites on the island. This day trip can be tailored to your interests. The rest of your free time, you are on your own. We are about 70 minutes from San Juan and about 60 minutes to the nearest beach. Aibonito town center is not far and has various restaurants and dancing on some nights. We do not have any public transport so you will need to either have a car or communicate with us in advance for drop off and pick up to locations. We have some private roads that surround the property that you can walk and a place for yoga (we have mats). . We suggest a reusable water bottle. We have sunscreen and bug repellent. We also have beach chairs, towels, hats, and protective work gear. Old shoes or working shoes are recommended for work. Some tools you will be working with are, machetes, trimmers, mowers, shovels and more. We are pretty flexible, just need to communicate.
