Description
We are looking for fun and open-minded people that want to join our team and help us out at our Wakepark in Arambol, Goa, the first and so far only Cable Wakeboarding-Park in India. At our place it's all about community, so if you are a person who enjoys living and helping together in a team/family then you fit here perfectly. Everyone can bring in their own ideas and we take decisions together. We are always quite a big group with many volunteers. Besides them, our team consists of Lalit (the owner), me (Eva, from Austria), two staff (Abhijeet and Arjun) and our auntie (we call her Didi), who cooks for us.
Our area is very peaceful, surrounded by nature and just a perfect place to chill. We have a small lake, where we teach wakeboarding and sometimes go for a swim, on very hot days :) As a place to sleep we can offer you one of our huts around the lake, with beautiful lake view from the terrace. We also have hammocks to chill, a slackline and always good music. In exchange for some help from you, we offer you accommodation and 2 meals a day (breakfast (Best Poha from Didi ;)) and lunch). And obviously good company! You also get the opportunity to learn wakeboarding or improve your wakeboarding-skills if you already know how to do it.
You can read below what we expect from you, but in general, it doesn't really matter so much what exactly you do and how many hours a day, as long as you are motivated and want to give something back. Then we are really excited to welcome you here at the Wakepark as a part of our family:))

The coolest thing is probably that you can learn cable wakeboarding here:).
Also, if you like meeting new people, you will have a really good time with our small team and all the adventurous people from all over india that come here to learn wakeboarding.
We would also love to show you our lifestyle here in Goa and in exchange you can tell us about your life in your country :).Help
What we expect from you really depends on your skills and interests. There are different areas in which you can help us with:
- Videography, social media, content creation, digital marketing: If you have experience in this, feel free to reach out :) Our goal is to reach more people online (mainly IG) and get them to come to the wakepark.
- If you are interested and stay for a little longer (also to learn wakeboarding yourself if you have never done it before), we can instruct you on how to be a wakeboarding teacher and you can help us and give lessons. Which may sound harder than it is ;)
- Crafting, Design: We are also looking for creative people, who like crafting and designing and want to help make some changes around the property to make it more beautiful. We are very open for all kind of ideas and projects :) There is always something to do around here, like painting the walls, designing the rooms, doing small crafting projects and similar things.
- Marketing: We need people to go to town for flyering and talking to restaurants, hostels... regarding collaborations. Also quite an easy task and you can learn it really fast.
- You can also help out in the kitchen and prepare food (and learn how to make chapati:)) for the team or whatever other tasks are needed.Languages

We can of course teach you Hindi if you are interested. At the moment we also have people here who can teach Russian and German. We are also always open to learning new languages, if you want to teach us your language.Accommodation
You will be staying in one of our huts around the lake in a private room or in our dorm room, which you might share with other volunteers. Please only message us, if sleeping in the shared room is okay for you. Also, unfortunately, the rooms are not in best condition (we are still repairing), so only text us, if you don't have very high standards :)
What else ...
If you want to do something else than spend time around the wakepark and go wakeboarding (when there are no customers), you can of course explore the town Arambol. There is a lot of stuff do to here like going to the beach, spending time in cute restaurants and cafes, going shopping, hiking, trying other water sports like surfing or kitesurfing, meeting new people, going to parties or other events and much more. Arambol really has a lot to offer and there are so many beautiful places to explore. We are also really open to showing you some places and exploring together if we have time :)
A little more information
Internet access
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
Can host digital nomads
Yes, we have good internet connection and beautiful lake view from the terrace. Perfect working spot ;)
Space for parking camper vans
Campers are always welcome here :) You can park your van at the parking lot on our property, next to the lake.
Can possibly accept pets
Yes, pets are very welcome. We love dogs :) But please only bring them if they are friendly and well trained. We have enough stray dogs already that love to destroy our cussions;) And they are obviously not allowed on the bed. We already had a case where a dog destroyed one of our mattresses and we don't want that to happen again. They should also get along with other dogs, as there are a lot of stray dogs around the property. Also, during high season, the volunteers stay in the dorm room. During that time it's not possible unfortunately to bring you dog, expect he/she stays outside.
How many Workawayers can stay?
More than two
