Travellers will find themselves immersed in a typical Kenyan rural setting surrounded by different settlements, small farms and villages that belong to the local communities. Sessions can be arranged with the local residents to educate them about the importance of preserving the environment. In exchange, you can learn more about their culture and way of life and the more adventurous can even sample some local cuisine!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

A few minutes walk from the farm is a lush river surrounded by natural forest where different wildlife can sometimes be spotted: monkeys, baboons and many different species of birds. The Mount Kenya Forest is also a walking distance away and is a great place to hike and if lucky there are chances of spotting some elephants and buffalo.

We can also arrange hikes to the neighbouring Mt Kenya and other nearby hiking areas as well as visits to the surrounding game reserves and conservancies that are home to a wide array of animal species !
