Description
My name is Sandy, and I live in the SW of France with my husband Neil, 1 and a half hours from the Pyrenees, and 1 and a half hours from the Atlantic coast . We have 5ha of land here, as well as a gite, and we offer B&B. Neil is a photographer and an artist, and finding time to take part in local exhibitions is difficult. So more help would mean more exhibitions . We also have a large organic vegetable garden, time consuming but well worth it in our opinion.We basically need more pairs of hands to keep the place looking at it's best. It is quite rural here, very quiet , yet only 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Pau. We can offer accommodation in our house , and would like to have support with, and share the general maintenance tasks, which would give us more time to visit the lovely places nearby, and we would also share that opportunity! We have a swimming pool here, very nice when the temperature soars. We have 2 cats and one very daft dog, Chico, who absolutely loves everyone, and he would also be very happy to have someone else helping here, he might get more walks by the lake. I hope that explains the place, and us, adequately.

Help
Gardening, ie grass cutting, watering and helping with our vegetable garden. Painting (shutters, gates etc.) Occasional cleaning/housework , if we have gite/ B&B guests. And possibly helping Neil to participate in local art exhibitions.

Bedroom with own bathroom.. either in our house or the 'poolhouse', this would depend on bookings taken before we know the dates that a volounteer may come here, but would be a comfortable room, either way.
What else ...
We are very rural here, but would be very happy to take/drop off volounteers to places of interest, mountains , coast etc, as we would have more time to get out and about ourselves. We are non smokers and do not allow smoking in the house, not vegetarians, but like vegetarian food.
