    Description

Hi everyone! Guess what? Today is a super special day for my organization! We're turning three years old this year! 🎉

I'm so happy and thankful for all the amazing work that volunteers from all over the world have done with us. You guys are the best!

You might have seen me asking for volunteers with special skills, like making plans, talking to people, and helping us get money for our projects. And the people who joined us? Wow! They did such a fantastic job.

But today, I have a different kind of invitation. If you think what this place does sounds cool, then I want YOU to join us! What do we do? We do research and help grow native trees to help nature and the local people.

We have a saying: it's not just about planting green things, it's about planting *different* green things! When we plant native trees, we're bringing back the whole natural world – the birds, the bugs, even the tiny stuff in the soil. It all comes back!

Guess what else? We just got some land to build a special place! It's going to be a center where people can do research and come up with new ideas about using native trees. We're planning to build little houses and dorms so that more researchers, students, and volunteers can come and do all sorts of interesting things there.

Let me tell you a bit more about this place. We'll keep seeds from native trees there for a short time and grow baby trees to help reforestation projects, especially here in Tanzania for now. We also want to invite people who teach farmers to come and learn how to plant native trees so they can share that knowledge in their own areas it is called Training of Trainners (ToT).

We're going to show how we can take care of nature and use native trees in ways that help everyone. Imagine a food forest, yummy spices growing under the shade of natural trees, happy animals living sustainably, and a nursery full of native baby trees! We even want to have a library and classrooms so everyone from all over the world can come and learn.

So, is this something that excites you? Do you have skills or knowledge you want to try out in real life? Maybe you want to do research and need a team to help you collect information? Are you passionate about nature and looking for a place to spend some time, maybe two weeks or even two years? Are you a student who wants to see how people affect forests? Or maybe you're really interested in learning how local people understand and use native trees, something we call indiginous knowledge, practice and perspective? are jounalist or film maker wants to do a beautiful documentary about the work for people and nature?

If any of this sounds like you, then this place is the perfect place for you today! Come join our dream!
