Description
Hello! I'm Mathieu , a Belgian guy living in northwest Slovenia, right on the edge of Triglav National Park. In 2010, me and my wife fell in love with this beautiful country and region, and decided to make it our home. We’ve since been renovating an old farmhouse in the hills and enjoy spending time in our garden, taking in the serene view of the valley below. For the moment, I am alone and I could use some help with physical tasks, especially transporting and chopping wood logs.
I am looking for 1 srong volunteer who is passing by and would like to help me for a week or so.

Volunteers will help with different kinds of tasks. We will try to organise that way that you will be doing various tasks.
We take care that volunteers are not doing dangerous tasks or taking risks.

A private room with a good bed and unlimited wifi.
What else ...
I live in a remote location. Volunteers without their own transportation will be picked up from the train or bus station in Most na Soci or Tolmin. From here, it's possible to take day trips to Lake Bohinj, Bled, or explore the Soca Valley. Additionally, there's a beautiful 6-hour hike in the hills starting from our place. And for some fun, we have a ping pong table!
Please note that we have 5 cats who live a very relaxed life, so we cannot accommodate volunteers with dogs.
Traveling by bus or train from Ljubljana is quite affordable. Especially on weekends, the bus fares are a real bargain!
When traveling by bus from Ljubljana to Tolmin, it's possible that the bus may take a detour through Cerkno.
We only take volunteers when the weather is good. (no rain)
