Description
We'd like to go away on 17th June and return on 3rd July 2024....
We'd love someone who can look after our animal family and give them lots of love while we go away. We have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 pony and 2 donkeys.
Based on a small holding just 9kms from the beautiful Andalucian village of Jimena de la Frontera.
It's a very rustic, dusty place so definitely not in pristine condition (we love the area so much that we have been renting it for over 4 years now)! Our love and time is spent on our animal family :-)
It does get very hot in the summer and we chose not to have air conditioning but there are plenty of fans.
Also a car is necessary as there is a lack of public transport :-)Types of help and learning opportunities

We live just 9 kms away from Jimena de la Frontera:
POPULATED SINCE PREHISTORY
Nestled between the Ronda mountain range and the bay of Algeciras, its fortress dominates the hill on which the white village descends. Populated since Prehistory, the Laja Alta site preserves cave paintings that are the only example of bronze maritime scenes in Spain. With the Muslim invasion, Jimena was reinforced to serve as a strategic enclave.
Its heritage legacy is headed by its 17C castle . XIII-XIV (Asset of Cultural Interest). In addition to the crenellated walls, the Homenaje tower, the Albarrana tower, the cisterns and entrance doors such as the Clock arch stand out. Behind the castle is the Queen Mora's bath .
Other jewels of its religious architecture are the church of Our Lady of Victory, the bell tower of the church of Santa María la Coronada, the church of Misericordia and, on the outskirts, the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Angels (15th century - XVII).
Every year the city hosts important cultural events in the region. The May fair, in which the “Livestock Market” takes place. The Jimena Station Flamenco Festival is held in September and is one of the oldest flamenco events in the province, and during the winter the mycological days.Help
Just feeding and loving them. The dogs won't need walking due to the heat as they run around a lot. The donkeys and pony need feeding twice a day, plus treats! The cats do their own thing as long as they're fed they are happy, but love to sleep on your bed.
