    Description

Clifden, Connemara | July & August | Paid + Accommodation

If you’re a surf instructor who dreams of living and working on Ireland’s wild Atlantic coast, this could be the perfect summer for you.

My name is Clare. I grew up in Manchester, UK, but since 2003 Connemara has been my home. I built my life — and my business here because I genuinely believe this is one of the most spectacular places in the world to live and work.

I run an outdoor adventure company delivering high-quality experiences including surfing, kayak tours, coasteering, rock climbing and more. We work in breathtaking locations across Connemara, welcoming visitors from all over the world who come here for adventure, scenery and connection.

This summer, we are looking for qualified surf instructors to join our team for July and August.

    What we offer:

    Competitive pay

Accommodation in the heart of Clifden town

No need for your own transport

    A supportive, experienced outdoor team

The chance to live and work on Ireland’s stunning west coast

Our accommodation is centrally located — walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants, cafés and shops — while also being surrounded by mountains, beaches and wild Atlantic coastline.

Clifden is a vibrant tourist town with a strong community spirit. Many people who come for a summer end up staying much longer. It’s a place where friendships are formed quickly and the lifestyle is second to none.

    You’ll need:

Recognised surf instructor qualification (or strong relevant experience)

    Excellent spoken English

A positive attitude, reliability and love for the outdoors

Ability to work well within a small, energetic team

If you’re professional, enthusiastic and ready for an unforgettable summer adventure, I’d love to hear from you.

Come and be part of something special.

"Working for Clare and Donal was everything I could have hoped for in a Workaway experience as a Workaway Ambassador. An amazing adventure company and lively hostel. They become like family to me, they took complete care of me while I was there, made sure I always had everything I needed, and taught me everything I needed to know about surviving in Ireland. They are by far the best craic you will ever find and will all remain close friends for many years to come."
