Description
Hello! My name is Nergui, but you can call me Nelly, which is the shorter and easier version of my name.
I previously worked as an ESL teacher and recently transitioned into the tourism industry. Although my career has changed, education and community development remain very close to my heart.
I would love to welcome friendly and enthusiastic Workaway volunteers who can share their knowledge and talents with schoolchildren in our local community. We are particularly interested in people with skills or experience in teaching English, Chinese, Japanese, art, music, dance, mindfulness, public speaking, creative writing, coding and sustainable development.
We are also open to new ideas and educational activities that could help local children improve their skills, build confidence, express their creativity, and broaden their understanding of the world.
In addition, we would be delighted to host volunteers with experience in sustainable tourism who can contribute ideas and practical knowledge to improve destination management, strengthen nature conservation, develop responsible tourism practices, and enhance local tourism products and visitor experiences in Khatgal and the Lake Khuvsgul area.
In return, volunteers will have the opportunity to experience authentic local life, connect with our community, learn about Mongolian culture, and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of Khatgal and Lake Khuvsgul. -
