    Description

    Hello and Yasou!

I'm Giselle (35), from Germany. I work remotely in marketing and alternate between fast-paced London city life and my idyllic summer house close to the beach in Greece — opposites I’ve grown to love. I enjoy my work, people I care about, movement, ideas, and anything that sparks curiosity or calm.

Paltsi is very peaceful and off grid, daily life takes time. I work from home, the house is in progress, and city comforts don’t exist here. That’s where you might come in. Which brings me to you, and what I’m looking for:

    ➡️ :

I'm primarily looking for a kind soul who would like to live here with me for a while — someone kind, reliable, and grounded, who can support me with everyday tasks so I can focus on my work. The house is very remote, and it's simply lovely to share that space and energy with another person.

Friendly, clean, respectful individuals who enjoy nature, tranquillity, and simple living are a great fit. Ideally, you'd be comfortable contributing a few hours per day or assisting with specific projects:

    - Some general housework: cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry; all tasks independently organized.
    - Gardening and outdoor maintenance
    - Small improvement projects around the house

I'm specifically open to singles or female couples for June and early August. I might also consider individuals who feel confident undertaking this adventure alone, provided they have substantial experience, are hands-on, and can overlap at least one day with me for orientation.

➡️ No Availability for 2025 anymore. But feel free to get in touch for 2026 if you are an early bird.

➡️ Recommended minimum stay: 10 days (due to remote location and travel logistics).

    ➡️ Lifestyle & Activities:

Perfect if you enjoy reading, yoga, hiking, meditation, paddle boarding, snorkelling, or simply relaxing in nature. Equipment for you to use: yoga mats, SUP board, snorkelling gear, beach essentials, hiking gear, scooter (occasionally available), games, books, hammock, sunbeds, and an iPad for entertainment.

    ➡️ Social & Cultural Exchange:

Engage with the local Greek community, meet international residents, and experience summer village life. I speak fluent German and English, intermediate Spanish, and beginner French and Greek. Language and cultural exchanges are warmly encouraged! I'm happy to include you in my activities and show you around if time allows, but you're also welcome to do your own thing.

    ➡️ Important Notes:

Transport is essential, especially if I’m not there. Buses reach only Argalasti (14 km away); from there, private transport is necessary. But if you are happy with being depended, I can pick you up.

Remote work is feasible during summer (limited Wi-Fi and solar power, ca. 12 hours per day).

    Respectful, peaceful interactions are key.

✅ If you've read this far, please mention "Yasou Giselle" in your message!

Looking forward to welcoming kind souls ready for a peaceful, nature-connected adventure!

    Warm regards,

    Giselle

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Experiencing authentic Greek village life and local customs. Engaging with the international community in the area. Learning about natural and simple living with basic amenities. Exploring the South Pelion region and its traditions. Cultural exchange with me (German living there and in London). You will be in a very remotey area, meaning everyhting takes longer, slows you down and for some things you have to get creative. In summer, everything revolves around the beach, also because of the heat, but I have put together a little travel guide with tips for discovering the region that I am happy to share with you.

The house is located in a very rural area, surrounded by forests, olive trees, and a river, with abundant sunshine. You’re close to nature here. There is no public transport, so it's essential that you either bring your own car, feel comfortable driving a scooter, or are happy spending most of your time around the house, village, and beach. It's not busy but there are definitely more people here in the summer months, so you can maybe ride with neighbours or make new friends. The transportation problem is well known here, and people are open-minded.

The house itself has around 70 m² of living space, plus a bit more outdoor area with showers, terraces, and a garden. It’s minimalist and open in design, simple but cosy, and situated 1.5 km from the beach. In summer, (July and August) the beach area is a bit livelier – perfect if you want a change of pace once in a while. Houses in the area are hidden, detached, and surrounded by large gardens.

    - Two bedrooms with large, comfortable beds: Downstairs bedroom: Private, quiet, and fully darkenable or Upstairs loft bedroom: Bright and airy, with access to a sunny rooftop terrace. Your choice.
    - A pretty simple kitchen setup (currently without dishwasher or washing machine; laundry service nearby), but cooking is possible. During summer months we eat a lot of salads, veggies, fruits,...
    - Living room, small bathroom (open in design, note: outdoor showers!), Outdoor seating areas.

Amenities are basic but fully functional: Limited solar-powered electricity, very Simple gas stove, Occasional Wi-Fi availability.

I like the house clean, fresh, and pleasant. The minimalist style makes it ideal for 2-3 people seeking a comfortable yet simple summer stay. Renovations and improvements are ongoing. Please ask for updates as full electricity will come 2025.

I f you'd like more Infos, I am happy to share my House- and Travel guide with you after a call.

Besides outdoor activities and beach offerings, I provide some equipment for your use: hiking gear, yoga mats, SUP board, snorkeling sets, beach essentials, scooter 🛵 with helmet, games, books, hammock, sunbeds, and for cozy evenings an iPad with Netflix & more. Looking forward to making your stay special and can show you around.

WiFi is limited and occasional at the house. In summer, better connections available at beach restaurants 1-2km away. Flexible scheduling of help hours to accommodate your work needs. Own transportation recommended for accessing better internet in nearby towns. Normal electricity will come and then we have 24/7 wifi, but I can't say exactly when. Please ask about Updates if that's relevant for you.
