Help with gardening and home DIY project while living in the countryside in Portet, France

  Description

  My house is located on the border of the Pyrénées Atlantiques and the Gers, in the countryside, in a very pleasant setting. Those who love peace and quiet can only enjoy themselves here. In the surrounding area there are vineyards, livestock and crops (mainly corn). A little further away are the Pyrenees to the south, as well as the ocean to the west. In both cases you can reach them for a day trip or a weekend. From my house you can reach the towns of Aire sur Adour (in the Landes) and Riscle (Gers), but also Pau, Tarbes and Lourdes.
  
  I live alone, with my pets (1 dog and 2 cats), as well as a few chickens, 6 sheep and 3 goats. I work a lot at home. When I go outside it is to take care of children with learning difficulties, or disabled people.

  Ma maison se situe à la frontière des Pyrénées Atlantiques et du Gers, en pleine campagne, dans un cadre très agréable. Qui aime le calme et la tranquillité ne peut que s'y plaire.
  Dans les environs se trouvent des vignes, de l'élevage et de la culture (de maïs principalement). Un peu plus loin se trouvent les Pyrénées au sud, ainsi que l'océan à l'ouest. Dans les 2 cas on peut les rejoindre pour une escapade d'une journée ou d'un week-end.
  Depuis chez moi on peut rejoindre les vlles d'Aire sur Adour (dans les Landes) et Riscle (Gers), mais aussi Pau, Tarbes et Lourdes.
  Je vis seule, avec mes animaux de compagnie (1 chien et 2 chats), ainsi que quelques poules, 6 moutons et 3 chèvres.
  Je travaille beaucoup à mon domicile. Quand je vais à l'extérieur c'est pour m'occuper d'enfants en difficulté d'apprentissage, ou de personnes handicapées

  I am very open to cultural exchanges. I have been to Ireland twice, but also to England, several times to Spain, to Costa Rica recently ... I speak English; I get by in any case! I am relatively present at my home. Someone who wishes to improve their knowledge of French and French culture will be welcome.   Je suis très ouverte aux échanges culturels. Je suis allé 2 fois en Irlande, mais aussi en Angleterre, plusieurs fois en Espagne, au Costa-Rica récemment ...
  Je parle anglais ; je me débrouille en tout cas ! Je suis relativement présente à mon domicile. Quelqu'un qui souhaite améliorer sa connaissance du français et de la culture française, sera bienvenu.
  De mon côté, très curieuse, je serai ravie d'approfondir ma connaissance d'autres cultures.
  Si la personne que j'accueille est française, cela sera également l'occasion d'échanger car toute rencontre est un trésor...

  I am moving into a property that includes 3.5 hectares. I will have to do some work there to accommodate my animals (6 sheep, 3 goats, chickens...), and more generally take care of my orchard and the exterior of the house.

The immediate surroundings are the countryside: forest, vineyards, crops, livestock. The cities of Pau and Tarbes are quickly accessible but you need a means of transport. I often go to Pau, I can quite easily drop the workawayer there.

  Les environs immédiats sont la campagne : forêt, vignes, cultures, élevage. Les villes de Pau, et Tarbes sont accessibles rapidement mais il faut un moyen de transport. Je me rends souvent à Pau, je peux tout à fait y déposer le (ou la ) workwayer.
