Description
Hi, I’m Billy ( Canadian) and with my partner Tracey (British) we are wanting to share our eco conscious haven in the forest. This beautiful location is in the heart of Muskoka, Canada, which has an abundance of wildlife many types of birds, black bears, coyotes, fox, rabbits, deer and moose, amazing star gazing, natural woodlands, lakes, indigenous history and plenty of peace.
For the past 22 years, I have devoted my life living as organically possible, at one with Mother Nature and undisturbing the natural environment, all the while working to encourage her growth. I have singlehanded built several cabins on the land, these have been constructed with the wood harvested myself from the forest. Lots of upcycled materials and plenty of love. Several small dug ponds to attract and encourage wildlife, as well as 3km of walking trails. We are in the process of expanding the beautiful organic gardens which we would love help with!
The property is also blessed to bee the home to a healthy hive of honey bees.
This is our first year inviting travellers to come and join us for a inspiring stay in a Stunning location.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We are looking to attract likeminded nature lovers who have a desire for learning as well as contributing all while being immersed in nature. We are both very easy going people, who have experienced life and travel. Tracey spent many years working with adults and children with Autism within education.
We have flower and vegetable gardens and plan to create more this summer that we would like your assistance with, but if that is not something you would enjoy, we have lots of other satisfying tasks that your help would be appreciated, maintaining existing structures, helping us maintain and create new trails in the forest, and for your own pleasure foraging.
If you would like to volunteer 4 hours/ 5 days per week to our vision of a healthier, happier lifestyle, please get in touch!Languages
