Description
Hey Travelers,
This is a lodge in the one of the nicest spots of the amazon basin, in the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, Ecuador. It's a magical place with a nice crew and a real passion for the amazon rain forest:)
To get to Cuyabeno you will have to get to Lago Agrio (7h bus ride from Quito) first. From Lago Agrio we will organize your transport to the Lodge, 2h by bus and 2h by canoe.
We are looking for helpers to:
-Teach English to our crew (the crew is leaning English, but on a really basic level, so it would be really helpful if you also speak some Spanish)
-Help to give a good service to our tourists
-Help with housekeeping
-Help with general maintenance
-Help with easy construction
-Eventually teach English in the indigenous community Siona
During free time helpers have the chance to join groups for jungle hikes, go paddling to the Laguna Grande to watch the sunset and swim, go out for night walks or caiman spotting, simply relax in a hammock with a cold beer. One day: Visit of the Siona community
Next possible start date: 04.May.2017
Hope to hearing from you soon:)

After staying almost three weeks in the host I left it with a little tear in my eye. It’s such a unique, beautiful, stunning, educational, interesting, calm, fascinating, warm and welcoming place that I am pretty sure every volunteer will fall in love with this place as I did.
Really short notice I decided to join… read more
