Description
Hi, my name is Sinead, I live with my husband, two cats and seven chickens in the beautiful countryside of Co Meath, in the Boyne valley, part of Ireland's Ancient East, about 30k from Dublin. We 've created a 4 acre free-style garden full of native Irish trees and shrubs and flowers, and we've turned a yard and old cow sheds into a home office, storage and painting studio.

We will show you the area, and take you to see some of Ireland's Ancient East. My husband loves gardening and is happy to share his knowledge with you.

Help
This is a passion project as we both work, and to be honest, my husband does all the work in the garden he can in between meetings! We need help with gardening, clearing overgrowth, clearing the orchard, weeding and tidying the yard and pathways. We love our trees and will happily show them to you and explain about Irish native woodlands.

Accommodation
We're offering full use of a beautiful one bedroom cottage, fully renovated with an open plan kitchen and sitting room , with fridge freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, heating, washing machine, electric shower, and modern lighting and artworks.
There are books and our old CD collection, along with a TV with free-to-air channels. Bedding and towels are provided, along with food (I'll take you shopping once a week).
It suits a couple best or max two people, there is one bedroom and a double foldaway bed . Its no smoking or vaping.
What else ...
We do have seven chickens which we'll need help feeding and cleaning the coop but you'll have lots of free eggs every day! We also have two shy cats walking around the place. Our place is alive with wildlife and birds, if birdsong is your thing this is definitely the place for you!
You should note that its a very quiet rural location, its a 2.5k walk or drive to the nearest shop (and pub!) and the nearest bus stop is in the village that's 10k from the house. Ideally you'll need bicycles or your own transport.
