Staying on our farm offers a special opportunity to experience traditional village life in rural Tamil Nadu. By immersing yourself in our way of living - grounded in nature and community - you gain a window into an ancestral world.

While our accommodations are very simple, sleeping on grass mats with natural winds (rather than climate control) fosters resilience and attentiveness. By relinquishing some comforts, you unburden yourself to be fully present. Still, the basics of food, water, safe shelter, and warm hospitality will nurture you during your stay.

Our little village provides the perfect setting to learn Tamil - one of humanity's oldest continuous cultures and languages, with a classical poetry tradition over 2,000 years old. You will pick up the melodic sounds and sentence structure from your daily interactions with welcoming villagers. Understanding even a few phrases opens your world to the unique Tamil perception of life.

In the fields, our traditional small-scale farmers will share agricultural wisdom passed down generations. Join in authentic rituals celebrating nature's cycles. Let the ancient rhythms gently stir your modern assumptions at their very roots.

While the days here may challenge the body, the stillness of nights sets the spirit soaring. Our hope is that you return from this humble home transformed, with a renewed reverence for the land that sustains life. We can't wait to share it all with open-hearted visitors from afar.

  • Help

    Help

We warmly welcome travellers seeking an immersive organic farm experience while contributing to a sustainable way of living. Our small farm relies entirely on the willing hands.

Your main duties will revolve around tending our crops and livestock. Typical tasks may include:
    - Weeding, watering, and harvesting crops
    - Feeding and bonding with our cows, goats, and chickens
    - Collecting eggs and cleaning coops
    - Composting food scraps and farm waste

The help is very hands-on and helps provide the essentials for life on our farm. We'll show you the ropes and you'll quickly pick up the rhythms of homesteading. At the end of each day, we come together to prepare dinner over an open fire.

In exchange for about 4-5 hours of daily contribution, you'll receive a cozy place to stay and healthy, homemade meals. We live simply but hope to nurture you holistically.

Join us to learn firsthand about organic farming while being immersed in nature. We so look forward to welcoming inspirited travellers like you into our small but vibrant community! Please message us if you feel called to spend your next adventure in the countryside with us.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We offer humble yet warm accommodations reflective of our simple living values. Our home is a shared space where we eat, sleep, and spend time together.

The sleeping area has a solid roof and walls. We provide handwoven grass mats to sleep on, which are quite comfortable once you adjust to them. We do not have fancy cots or mattresses, but promise you a good night's rest after a day working outdoors.

During the day, there are quiet nooks on the farm to retreat to for reflection as needed. Lodging is modest.

This is a place to get your hands dirty, slow down, and reconnect to the land while serving something larger than yourself.

We welcome you to join us in our humble abode for a truly nurturing and memorable stay. Please message us if you have any other questions!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our farm nestles in the countryside outside Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. While we keep quite busy tending the land, there are lovely ways to spend your free time locally.

There are places such as Siruvani Waterfalls, Ooty, Palani, Thirumoorthy falls, etc where you can travel and return in a day or two. These offer a refreshing respite in nature. The vibrant town of Coimbatore also welcomes visitors to the townhall market for trying unique fruits or shopping for colorful saris and spices.

Guests interested in the spiritual aspects of Tamil culture can visit the ancient temples just twenty kilometers from our farm.

Public buses do connect major parts of the towns.

After an adventurous day/days out, you can look forward to a restful sleep under the stars on our farm. Let the gentle sounds of the countryside soothe your transition into village living. We can't wait to have you!
