We like here open minded friendly people.
Meike and Christian
I live 50 kilometers from Bremen and nearly 30 kilometers to
Bremerhaven.
There is a train station 2 km . Stubben
We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, 4 Icelandhorses, 10 sheep.
and some chicken.
You should be waterproof and don't mind do get your hands dirty.
You should be able to work alone .
You should be able to leave the kitchen and
bathroom clean and respect our stuff.
You should be able to carry a whellbarrow and not be afraid for dead mouses....and spiders.
Or you really like to cook and clean.
And please more than 1 hour a day.
Some people come here and think this is a hotel.
The help is cleaning the horses, bring in and out of the green field.
Help to clean the chicken and sheep.
Help in the house or outside it depends on the weather.
Painting a fence,gardening,brushing.. if you do not like this maybe you are not made for the
countryside.
Myself I am very interestet to meet people from all over the world.
But I stay here with my dogs and horses.So I like it to have people here, from all over the world.
So come and have a look on the countryside from north-west Germany.
We do not eat a lot of meat, i have my own eggs
If you do not like what we eat, you have to help yourself.
We do not have a problem with vegan or gluenfree food of course.

In Bremerhaven there are special museums about ships(Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum),to emigrate( Deutsches Auswandererhaus ), about climate(das Klimahaus)
a small zoo,so many things to see.
In Bremen there are a lot of museeums,music and art.
A nice old market place with rathaus and the big old church.
In Bremen there is also a small old town part without cars called Schnorr.

Nikolas hat seine Anreise kurzfristig verschoben, er kam einige Tage später.
Wir haben ihn nicht viel gesehen, da er mobil gearbeitet hat.

We had sone holidays and so our neighbours did not have to help.
She took care our horses, sheep, chicken, cats and dogs.

I stayed with Meike for a few weeks and it was way to short! Meike is a great host and a wonderful person :) I enjoyed the work and the company.
