    Description

Your accommodation is in a big shed but it’s got all you need and you’re independent. I live in an eco village which is situated in a beautiful little town of Witchcliffe in the south west of Western Australia, only 8km from the well known Margaret River town and Margs world famous surf break . Our nearest beach is superb.. Redgate.. just down the end of the road. Great for a stimulating swim and surf.

If you’re into wine, 🍷 food 🍲 and sparking beaches come join me. Plus I am close to the beautiful Boranup Karri Forest, Hamelin Bay, Lake Cave and Augusta with its jewels of Flinders Bay and the Blackwood River mouth. Yes swim, surf, wind surf, fishing and canoeing.

I live in a small community and everyone is friendly, people walking past, stopping to chat, getting together, sharing cuppas, food, wine 🍷.

Nearly every home has a gentle dog., I have a black Labrador, a rescue with me just three months, so he’s still a teenager and wilful and funny but a bit reactionary 🐾🐶 as he’s never met other dogs before! New to the beach, park and dam. Yes a handful but not at all aggressive and loves to play.

I run a trekking (hiking) compan . Yes I’m a passionate multiday hiker and I have the Cape to Cape Track on my doorstep. So lucky 🍀 👣 want to hike, I can lend you some hike gear and help with transport to and from.

I’ve walked tracks all over the world and love meeting other travellers. I’ve even managed a backpackers (yes live in with travellers) so yes I encourage all to get out and see the world.

I’m very capable, extremely fit and imaginative but there are some labour jobs that are too high or heavy for my hands.

So you would be doing the tasks alongside me and on your own.

Painting, paving and other small jobs finishing off my landscaping.

Inside I need help with hanging art work and shelving. I have the drill, but it’s a two person job.

    Accommodation

Separate accommodation in a large airy shed with lovely outlook through sliding door. Cooking on electric stove one burner (barbecue available) and outside kitchen sink and there is a small fridge. .

Shed has its own bathroom with shower, toilet , trough and washing machine. A queen sofa bed and lots of comfy stretcher beds for extras. I have tents, mattresses for friends to stay overnight.

Only restriction is the use of my rainwater .. just two tanks so we have to conserve.

Meals., I can obtain a lot of veges, some fruit and bread and have to be careful of $$. Love to experience world cooking and share ideas and meals.

I have a male Black Labrador, rescue dog, never been with dogs before, never been to park or beach . So lots of learning going on. Ollie is beautiful and loves to play with other dogs. But will bark excitedly first. Please no male young dogs as my Ollie hasn’t yet learnt dog social skills and it can cause the other dog to turn on him.
