Description
Our Resort is located in the remote, bustling boreal forest of Northern Saskatchewan. Accommodations are perfectly placed on the shorelines of Keeley Lake - a body of water hosting all sorts of recreational activities, such as world class fishing, boating, jet-skiing, canoeing, bird watching, rice harvesting and so much more.
Surrounding the lodge is a vast array of environmental opportunities to fully engulf the avid outdoors enthusiast. Hiking, mountain biking, foraging, ATVing, wildlife tracking, hunting and trapping (conservation efforts and self-sufficiency) are just a few of the activities we advocate.
Under new ownership as of January.1st, 2024, we have a boat load of big plans to utilize the recommendations and knowledge of locals, indigenous, tourists and staff to incorporate the full extent of eco-tourism Keeley Lake can provide. For both the environment and humans. There is so much more to come and we'd love you to be a part of this dream!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The wildlife neighboring our rustic lodge is endless. Wolves, lynx, fisher, marten, deer, upland birds, birds of prey, passerine birds, fish species (such as pike, walleye, burbot, rainbow trout, tiger trout, splake).. we could go on and on. As mentioned earlier, hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing and swimming are just some of the activities you'll be able to experience. Our client base consists of people looking to learn and gain knowledge about the Canadian wilderness and outdoors. Indigenous cultures thrive within the area, offering insights into their inherited languages, practices, sustenance harvesting, artwork and day to day values. We pride ourselves in being able to dive into the many aspects that nature and human culture has to share.

Help
Our work is simple.
First of all, we are a private business so expect payment accrued hourly at minimum wage ($15/hr in Saskatchewan). We expect your work permit/visa to be in order before you arrive if you are an international visiting Canada.
Firstly, we want to hear from you! After spending some time with us, your input to visualize this business becoming a part of your dream is our dream. We're all open ears when it comes to ideas, initiatives or past experiences you'd like to implement into eco-tourism. There's so much potential in this world to be harnessed and we're here for it!
Secondly, your relaxed schedule will include foraging for mushrooms, herbs, rice and berries which will be sold from our retail store market. Other tasks will involve general housekeeping of accommodations, such as doing laundry, changing bedding, cleaning hard surfaces, removing garbage, sanitizing pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and glasses.
