    Description

Im living in a cabin in a place called Tyristrand. The boss here, a cat (Felix) is my best friend. Im living in a forest, so if you like trips there are plenty.
My cabin have a 12v power station for lights, music, tv and such. The toilet is an old type, no water, a hole. I don't care much, but the toilet is cold in the winter...
Other things i have is a shower, just need to heat the water first. Well i also have a car, need it because of the place i live.
For me it sounds fun finding someone to help me with small things like keeping the cabin warm, clean, make food and a lot of different chores.
You can have an experience here, see what this place has to show you, it will be cold outside, but inside is good.
I like to see different people with all kind of ideas, as long as you are open minded we will have a good time. I love food, and would like to try something new. Hearing stories from other countries are also fun. Hope to meet someone nice

    Best regards: Sindre

Im an educated carpenter if you are interested. Some friends and family visit me, fewer in winter than summer. I hope to learn much about different ways of living, food, social activities. All people have some new thing with them i can learn something from. Hopefully you are the same way. You will experience a cold dark winter, learn to survive in the cold. Also you have a chance to learn to be by yourself, if im working or such.
Depending on who you are there will be different thing to do together.

  • Help

    Help

Living in a cabin in cold Norway in the winter makes some challenges, but also opportunities. I need help making food, brushing cat, cleaning, making/keeping the fire in the cabin, making roads in the snow, getting stuff to the cabin, getting drinking water. The cabin is located in a forest with 150m walk from the closest road.

If you work 2-4 hours a day you will have free food and warm bed... I can make some dishes, hope you do the same. I have a gas oven, microwawe and toaster etc. You can make the same food as home. Also a fridge with freezer in my house.

    What else ...

Remember to bring warm clothes, waterproof clothes and shoes. It might get down to minus 30 celsius, not often tho.. Well there are a bus going from here, but when you want to go somewhere, just plan it with me and i can drive the 4km road down to the bus with you. I dont use bus, but its easy to find when it goes. The closest city is Hønefoss, like 15-20min drive by car. Its some life there in the weekends, if needed. My mom lives closer to Oslo so if you want to see that city we can.
Tyristrand is a small place (4km from here), gas station and a foodstore, food store is open every day from 7.00 till 23.00 not sundays.
