Description
Wonderfull Workawayers of the World: Welcome! :)
I'm Blai, and I work for the conscious (r)evolution of human life. I'm currently developing a Center, a Method, some Crafts and a series of Retreats, and doing my best to live by, and contribute to, a new holistic Paradigm.
Let's dive in:
CENTER. Based on permaculture design principles and techniques, I'm developing a forest healing biotop. Stunning views, beautiful paths, some huts, compost toilets, meeting places, raised garden beds, a big Bell tent, some fruit trees, an old stone cottage… a work-in-progress piece of paradise which serves as a gathering spot and a small retreat center.
METHOD. Since 2016 I'm conceiving the Vitalintegral Method: an holistic framework and integrative system, a toolbox for personal conscious transformation, a panoramic and profound process to cultivate inner peace, exercise mental power and build positive character traits.
CRAFTS. With the help of volunteers and collaborators, using natural and up-cycled materials, I'm producing the Papers for Progress, a special kind of stationary (not for sale for now) which is used in the retreats as the material base, the physical support, of the Vitalintegral Method.
RETREATS. The retreats I organize and facilitate are based on the Vitalintegral Method and are a series of seven weekends in a one-year process. The participants learn and experience some of the most important notions and useful tools for self-knowledge, self-creation, self-organization, self-care and self-improvement.
PARADIGM. An integral (r)evolution towards a New Earth based on Love, Truth and Freedom is what is urgently and absolutely needed. To reach such a wide and deep transformation, we first need to conceive a new holistic paradigm -which is already emerging- and put it progressively into practice -which is quite an adventure. I've studied philosophy and been involved in cultural, ecological, political and social movements and initiatives for the last 20 years. I've given dozens of workshops and public lectures on strategy, vision and organization for holistic social change and written many articles on those matters.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
My place may be a very appropriate context to learn, experience and practice various methods, techniques and frameworks to develop the potential of the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of our human experience: Positive Psychology, Integral Theory, Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, Perennial Philosophy, Sedona Method, Lifebook, Productivity Systems and Hacks, Journaling, Working Out,… and, of course, the Vitalintegral Method.
Help
Depending on your interests and skills, on one hand, and on the current needs of my projects, on the other, you may work in crafting, creating, cultivating, caring and/or cooking.
More details:
CRAFT. Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you have some experience in handcrafting? Folding and cutting papers, gluing, painting, sewing, washing,... Relaxing tasks which you can do while listening to music and/or podcasts.
CREATE. If you are painter, a graphic designer, an illustrator, a videographer, a photographer and/or a web master and would like to help me in some of these fields, we might find a way to put your creative skills and passions at work.
CULTIVATE. I'm cultivating raised gardening beds and developing a permacultural forest, so sometimes there's the need to cut down some pine trees and plant some other species, move some soil, dig, water, build, repair...
COOK. If you have some experience as a vegetarian-vegan cook, you might be able to help me with that in some moments.

The usual accommodation is a beautiful rustic apartment in the tranquil square of a tiny rural village: it has WiFi and all the other basic comforts of modern life.
Occasionally, some workawayers are also accommodated in the Bell Tent in the forest center, which has stunning views of the hills and the fields nearby, the Pyrenees mountains and the Mediterranean sea, but does not have electricity, hot water or Wifi. What else ...
AREA. L'Alt Empordà is one of the most beautiful areas of Catalonia, where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean. I'm not far from the beaches of Sant Martí d'Empúries -with its Greek ruins and old villages-, Sant Pere Pescador -with it's natural park and huge bay-, or Cap de Creus, with impressive landscapes. The train station is 3 km away from the village apartment and 10km away from the forest center, and with the train you can easily go to Girona, Figueres or Barcelona. I can lend you a good bike to explore the local area by yourself.
EXCHANGE. There’s two options of exchange. The Option A is the all-included which involves working 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, and you get the accommodation and all the food. The Option B involves 3 hours of work per day, 5 days a week, and doesn't include the food. We will decide which of this two exchange modalities suits us better; and it’s possible to do a combination of both -one week for each, for example.
FOOD. I consume mostly organic and locally produced food. In case we exchange with Option B, you will be able to buy your own groceries from local stores and/or supermarkets. In both option A and B you will have full access to a kitchen to prepare your own meals, and we will cook and eat together somtimes: we will go with the flow.
Keep well! :)
