    Description

    Welcome to our farm

We are a family of six,
    Daniel 39
    Mai 36
    Charlie 12
    Lili 10
    Rosa 7
    Søs 2

We warmly welcome people from all countries and cultures. We are very excited to learn about you and we look forward to show you, how a busy family life in Denmark is - Showing you our part of the country, and showing you where its nice to go and explore on your own, if you'd like. It is important to us, that you have a genuine interest in family life in Denmark

We are a small scale organic farm (3,5ha). It is run as a part time self-sufficiency project, where we try to find our own little niche in farming. We've had sheep, pigs, geese, ducks, rabbits, chickens, and loads more. Right now we have our most prominent residents, the dog Tinka, the cat Rene Dif and Gunieapigs Jimmi and Otto. We raise meat rabbits and consider goats, sheep or pigs for the spring. We put a lot of energy into the vegetable garden and Poly tunnel/greenhouse and general maintenance and updating the buildings and garden will, as always, be important.

We have been traveling as workaway'ers ourselves. Gathering experience and inspiration for new projects on our farm. That means we always have a lot of exciting projects ahead.

We offer you a private room, with a double bed. You are welcome to share the rest of the house with us, and you are welcome to join us for three daily meals.

You are also welcome to set up your own tent or van.

PLEASE NOTE: Couples or families prefered

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are in most ways a typical danish family. We used to live in the city, but decided to move to the countryside to raise our kids sorrounded by nature and animals. To show them where their food comes from and help them appreciate nature as we do. We hope to share our lives with interesting people from arround the world, and teach our kids (and ourselves) that people have diffrent customs and look and speak different around the world.
Mai works from her home office and Daniel works part time in the city.
