Description
Broaden your perspective on life and career, do systemic family constellations and help me in the house and garden.
I have just moved to the main house of the old farm. There are lots of things to do, and the garden really needs a hand, so all skills are welcome.
For me the social part of having volunteers is as important as the work part. I am open, unconventional, and extrovert with respect for you needing private time.
I love to understand how your life and thoughts are. How does climate-change affect your life, and how do you look at the political situation in the world? What do you like to share and discuss?
Personal development is also a very important part of my life. I see many helpers thinking about a career shift. We can talk about that. What is important for you? I can help you with a systemic family constellation, where we explore energies together to help excluded, stuck, unconscious feelings move, and thereby broaden your perspective.
I live in a rural area in the beautiful south-eastern part of Denmark called Lolland, just north of Fehmarn/Germany, close to forests and beaches. I will love to show you the beautiful surroundings.
I live next door to Natascha, and Kira is here part-time, they have both been fosterchildren here. They are now adults.
- Hanne 67 (me): I love to share life experiences and all kinds of knowledge, I am non-binary, multitasker, facilitator of family-constellations for groups and individuals, handywoman.
- Natascha 19: On her way out into adult life.
- Kira 18:Turtle keeper. Kira has severe autism and used to live here, she is now living at an institution. She is here every second weekend. Kira does not socialize with any helpers, and when she is here I spend all my time with her. So these weekends are perfect for a trip for you - seeing other parts of the country. I will drive you to the station and pick you up again.
In another house on the farm lives my X-husband Simon and his girlfriend Jeannie. They work a lot and they are not part of the workaway-experience. They also have a big permaculture garden, where we do get much of our food. Simon and I have built the other house together and have lived there for 15 years with the fosterchilden. We split up 4 years ago. We are friends and help each other. We have had more than 130 helpers over the years, many of them had their first workaway-experience here. (The reviews that are from before 2025 are from that time).
The house and the surroundings here are friendly and peaceful, but needs all kinds of help, so all skills (and your strength) are welcome. I have lots of skills and energy myself, but not so much strength. We will work together most of the time and I will love to teach you lots of things. I also love to learn from you. The working atmosphere is stressless, fun, friendly and calm. I do not have any expectations for your skills, just that you are open to learning how to do things and that you will put energy and commitment into the work that we do together.
We cook together. Most veggies are from the organic garden - I do also eat meat, and I am glutenfree/grainfree. Your diet is also welcome, though if you need expensive food that is not part of my diet, I will ask you to pay for that part yourselves.
You can also go and see the beautiful country. Here is a bike you can use, and you can often get a lift to the train-station (and back). At the end of our profile you will find a list of beautiful places nearby.
Distance to forest: 3 km, to nearest little town 5 km, to the sea 5-20 km – depending on which way you go, to Copenhagen 1 hour and 15 minutes by train.
If you stay here for a longer period you can of course take some days off to go on a longer trip. I will be happy to share my knowledge about Denmark to inspire you.
I want us to have a video-call before we make an appointment, simply to be able to feel good - both you and I. This way is the best to secure, that you and I will have the best experience.

I need help in the house and garden.
Here are various tasks to do:
- I have recently bought a 4x4 m2 wooden house. It has been set up in the garden, and it needs to be finished with insulation for future helpers to stay in.
- We can also build an outdoor soil-toilet
- Organizing. Here are lots of old things that I would like to get away to the recycle-station.
- Gardening, setting up new beds for vegetables and flowers.
- Fruit harvesting
- Making marmalade, pickles, nut-bread without flour.
- Painting walls and windows
When we meet on messenger or whattsapp, I will be specific about the tasks to be done in the period you are here.
