Hi … I’m a musician and I live part time at my partner’s place. My home is on the Mornington Peninsula which is south of Melbourne in Australia. It is 5 minutes from beautiful beaches in Mornington and shops are a short walk up the street. The bus stops at the corner of my court.
The Peninsula is a summer holiday destination, a winery region with great food/wine in these wineries and restaurants, much live music and also a surfing getaway. The Mornington Peninsula is also famous for its beaches, native walks and cycling. It is an hour and a half, by train, to the CBD in Melbourne from here.
As a musician I have little time and need help with painting areas in and around the house and some building assistance for the shed, general maintenance and gardening. I have two housemates who live here independently and who are mostly at work.

If you are wanting to enjoy a beach holiday, bush walking, cycling or exploring the winery region or just out to see some of Australia and enjoy the foodie trek then this would be a great launching pad for your travels. It is close to everything and also within a short distance of all that is beautiful in Australia. It is coming up to summer (December to February) which is peak season here on the Mornington Peninsula.
Projects include: painting a sections in and around the house, help with a shed-pack construction with a builder and general maintenance and having a fun time experiencing the Peninsula.

The house is in a small court and a bus stop at the corner of the court and a short walk to the local shops. 15 minute walk to the main village and to the beach. A double bed in private room in a 3 bedroom house.
There is a veggie patch and a mini orchard (just 5 fruit trees). The garden is mainly indigenous otherwise.
Because I am not always at home the food would be up to you to organise and I am happy to help you get food sorted for the time you are here so you can cook/make your meals.
Happy to give a guided tour of the area so you can get orientated and give directions as what and where to go to get the most of the Peninsula and help you create an experience suitable to what you may be looking for within the realms of what the Mornington Peninsula offers: Bush walking. beach walks, surfing, canoeing (water sports), visiting wineries, live music or just sight seeing the magic of the Mornington Peninsula.
As mentioned the Peninsula is a summer holiday destination, a winery region with great food/wine in these wineries and restaurants, much live music and also a surfing getaway. The Mornington Peninsula is also famous for its beaches, native walks and cycling. It is an hour and a half, by train, to the CBD in Melbourne from here.
As I am busy as a musician I work from home when I am not performing. I would be happy to exchange guitar and song writing lessons as well if you are interested in learning about music.
