    Description

Hi, I’m Tanja! I’m a creative, calm, and easygoing person living in a friendly, vibrant suburb of the Gold Coast, close to the beach, cafes, parks, and the HOTA arts centre. Please note the help wanted for my private home and garden, I am not a business.

I’m passionate about nature, painting, water activities, and creating peaceful spaces. I'm currently transforming my house into a wellness-inspired sanctuary for myself, complete with plans for a spa, sauna, greenery, and outdoor art. I'm also in the early stages of planning a future small granny-flat style area for an elderly family member and a carer.

A Note on Living Style: I enjoy meeting people and sharing good conversation, but I am naturally someone who values and needs a lot of quiet, independent time. I’m respectful, organised, and self-sufficient, and I appreciate helpers who are kind, honest, capable, thoughtful—and who also enjoy their own space.

    ---
The heavy groundwork is done! Now I’m looking for someone practical and reliable to help me with the next stage. The tasks are varied and in no particular order—we'll match them to your skills and interests.

    Main Focus Areas & Tasks:

    1. Garden & Outdoor Projects:

    · A big tidy-up and clean is a great place to start!
    · Cleaning, organising, and tidying the shed.
    · Gardening: weeding, trimming, planting, and general tidy-ups.
    · Creating a beautiful, tranquil "zenified" outdoor area (could be an arts/crafts space).
    · Sanding and painting outdoor wooden panels.
    · Building simple benches to cover old plumbing pipes.
    · Building or installing a pool pump cover.
    · Assembling an infrared sauna.
    · Painting outdoor eaves and walls.
    · Preparing a space for a new external door.
    · General cleaning and organisation after projects (e.g., post-paver cleaning).
    · Removing and replacing an old rusted gazebo.

    2. Indoor & Organisational Help:

    · A big priority: Helping me with a major clothing cull, cupboard tidy, and home styling.
    · General deep cleaning and organising throughout the house.
    · Installing hybrid indoor flooring (rigid vinyl planks).
    · Assisting with light demo and prep for a new shower & toilet.
    · Small repairs, DIY jobs, and general improvements.
    · Rearranging or redesigning rooms to make them more comfortable, inviting, and calm.
    · Sourcing and installing fly screens.
    · Filing and organising household admin.

    3. Tech & Planning (Optional, if interested):

    · Light tech help (reviewing iCloud backup options, internet plans, managing subscriptions like Netflix).
    · Ideas and feedback on design, layout, and space planning.
    · Brainstorming ideas for the future granny-flat area (design-minded helpers welcome—no care work is involved).

    ---

    🤝 I’m Looking For…

Someone autonomous, proactive, and reliable, who is happy to share ideas and also appreciates a calm, independent living environment.

Are you free soon? I'm looking for someone to start, and I'm especially keen to get going on the garden work!

If this sounds like a fit, please get in touch. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into my home.

You’ll be staying in a unique Gold Coast location, close to beaches, parks, and local arts culture. I’m always open to cultural exchange and love learning new creative skills, especially from those with an artistic or holistic background.

I’d be happy to share local tips, peaceful spots, and simple meals — and I’m always up for learning something new from you, too.

I live in a four-bedroom house with a garden and pool in a very central Gold Coast location. You can walk to the beach, shops, the HOTA arts centre, and everything the area has to offer.
