Description
Welcome to our cottage in southern Sweden!
We are an open-minded and international family consisting of Marie (French, 50 - acupuncturist and nutritionist) and Eric (French, 63 - retired, along with our son Zephyrin (12 - multilingual: Swedish, Spanish, French, English - explorer).
The environment is beautiful, surrounded by lot of nature : forests, lakes. You will have the opportunity to discover the Swedish landscapes, go hiking in the wilderness, and swim in clear lakes, 10 minutes away by bike. The sea is one hour away, to the west, south, east.
We need help to in various things, which range from moving boxes and reshuffling furniture, to painting some small things and building a woodshed.
The idea is to do it together.Types of help and learning opportunities

We speak different languages: Swedish, English, Spanish, French (native), Chinese (Mandarin). We travelled and lived around the world and can share experience of living abroad.
We work (hobby) in a shared-ownership organic permaculture farm nearby. It is worth a visit, both because the place is beautiful, and as an example of what is done collectively with about 15 members who come on a weekly basis.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
Our first step is to clear the space and organize boxes from our previous move.
At the same time, we also rely on your support for everyday tasks such as small tasks like pealing vegetables for the meal we will share (the cooking part, we manage). If you know how to use thread and needle, there are small repair jobs to do with fabrics, clothes.
Besides small jobs like cutting wood.
It is important to us that we work together to care for the cottage and the well-being of everyone involved.Languages

It's a summer house with a fireplace, in the middle of the woods, part of a complex of 40 summer houses nearby. No car traffic, only cars of neighbours.
There is a dedicated room for you, with a window facing East.
There is a sauna, fitness center and table tennis available in the complex. The pool is one minute away and is available until the weather gets cooler (maybe september).
Breakfast, lunch and dinner the whole time (of course with cosy pillow and blanket).
The train station Tjörnarp (belongs to Höör area) is 10 min away by bike, and you can go anywhere from there. For example to Copenhaguen city (worth a visit in one day) or CPH airport, it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. You will have your own bike during your stay. What else ...
There is a train station nearby called Tjörnarp : Malmö (60 min), Lund (30 min) Copenhagen (1h20), Goteborg (2h), Stockholm (5h).
