  We bought an old farm in Bavaria where there's plenty to do. There's a large vegetable garden, various animals, a woodworking shop, and much more. We're near Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We can cook together or have a game night, a campfire, or music. The town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber is not far away and definitely worth a visit. We live in a small village with forests and meadows surrounding it, perfect for hiking.
  A normal drink, etc., is fine, no parties. We go to bed early and get up early. Our baby sleeps at 9 p.m., so we need peace and quiet in the house. We have two house cats, but they are not allowed outside; it is very important that all front doors are always closed
  
  Wir können gemeinsam Kochen oder mal einen Spieleabend, Lagerfeuer oder Musik machen. Außerdem ist die Stadt Rothenburg ob der Tauber nicht weit weg und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir leben in einem kleinen Dorf mit Wald und Wiesen Außenrum was zum wandern einlädt. Aktuell könnte man auch mal Pilze sammeln gehen.
  Ein normaler Umtrunk usw ist okay, keine Partys. Wir gehen früh ins Bett und stehen früh auf. Unser Baby schläft ca. um 20 Uhr, da brauchen wir Ruhe im Haus. Wir haben 2 Hauskatzen, diese dürfen nicht raus, es ist sehr wichtig dass alle Haustüren immer geschlossen sind.

  ENGLISH:
  
  We are a small family with our first baby. We are not looking for childcare help, as we take care of our child ourselves.
  
  Some of the daily tasks here include looking after our chickens and occasionally cleaning out the chicken coop.
  
  At the moment, the main focus is on clearing and organizing the farm, cutting firewood, moving furniture, sorting belongings, and decluttering. Due to our self-employment in vintage furniture restoration, we have accumulated a large number of items that are no longer needed as we are winding things down.
  
  The work is mainly physical, so you should be comfortable with hands-on tasks and willing to work hard.
  
  We also regularly have new projects where extra help is appreciated.
  
  There are always opportunities to learn practical and hands-on skills here.
  
  We also run a volunteer-based animal welfare organization. Through this organization, I provide free treatment for the animals of people in need, as well as food, blankets, leashes, and other supplies. Anyone interested is welcome to help with these charitable activities.

  Wir sind eine kleine Familie mit unserem ersten Baby. Wir suchen niemanden für die Kinderbetreuung, das machen wir selbst.
  
  Zu den Alltagsaufgaben gehört bei uns, die Versorgung Hühner mit gelegentlichem Stall misten.
  
  Der Fokus liegt momentan darauf den Hof aufzuräumen. Wir haben durch unsere Selbstständigkeit (möbel Restauration) sehr viele Dinge angehäuft die wir wegen Aufgabe nicht mehr benötigen und jetzt sortiert werden müssen. Also auch Möbel rücken, Dinge sortieren, zum Wertstoffhof bringen usw.
  Außerdem Brennholz schneiden.
  Deine Arbeit wäre meistens körperlich, es wäre daher gut wenn du mit anpacken kannst.
  
  Außerdem gibts handwerklich auch immer wieder was anderes zu lernen.
  Wir haben einen ehrenamtlich geführten Tierschutzverein für den ich kostenlos die Tiere bedürftiger Mitmenschen behandle, so wie Futter, decken, Leinen usw ausgebe. Wer daran Interesse hat darf natürlich gerne mithelfen. Workawayer werden nicht bei geschäftlich Tätigkeiten mithelfen.

  We have a guest room where you can sleep. There's also a large property where anyone who wants to bring their own van/truck is welcome to sleep there. Tents are also possible in the summer. I like to cook for everyone, but we can also take turns or cook together. My husband alternates early and late shifts each week, so sometimes we have lunch earlier and sometimes dinner earlier. We don't have set times. I'm a vegetarian and therefore only cook vegetarian/vegan meals, but I don't mind if someone else eats meat.

  Wir haben ein Gästezimmer in dem du/ihr schlafen könnt. Außerdem gibt es ein großes Grundstück wer mit dem eigenen Van/Lkw kommen möchte kann gerne dort schlafen, im Sommer auch Zelt möglich.
  Ich koche gerne für alle, wir können uns aber auch abwechseln oder gemeinsam Kochen. Mein Mann hat jede Woche abwechselnd früh und Spätschicht, deshalb gibt es manchmal eher Mittagessen und manchmal eher Abendessen, wir haben keine festen Zeiten. Ich bin Vegetarierin und koche deshalb nur vegetarisch/vegan aber habe kein Problem damit wenn jemand anders Fleisch isst.

  ENGLISH:
  It's best to have your own car; public transportation is scarce here; I think there's only one or two buses a day. There are shopping opportunities in the neighboring town, which you could also reach by bike. There are many leisure activities here, including hiking in nature and city trips. Bad Windsheim, with its open-air museum, is not far away. In summer, there's also a swimming lake. There's a restaurant in the village that's open Thursday to Sunday. You can also take your children for pony rides or watch goats.

  Du solltest am besten über ein eigenes Auto verfügen, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind hier rar, ich glaube es fährt 1-2 mal am Tag ein Bus. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Nachbarort wo man auch mit dem Fahrrad hin könnte. Freizeit Möglichkeiten gibt es hier viele, wandern in der Natur, Städte Trips, Bad Windsheim mit dem Freilandmuseum ist nicht weit weg. Im Sommer gibt es hier auch einen Badeweiher. Im Ort gibt es ein Gasthaus was Donnerstag bis Sonntag geöffnet hat. Außerdem kann man hier mit Kindern Pony reiten oder Ziegen anschauen.
