    Description

    We are looking for people who are interested in earning money in some period of time.

    We need seasonal worker who will pick apples/fruits with us. And make apple juice. But mainly apple picking. The work start around second week of september. We wish that you can come around first week of september to do nescessary paper work, such as getting a D number and tax deduction card from tax office.

    We are farmer living in the south west coast of Norway, We live in a tiny village, my parents, me (46 y/o) , my wife (37), son (11 years old), 3 years old and 1 year old daugthers.
    The whole family likes hiking, fishing and hunting, as well as picking mushrooms and berries in the wood.

    The farm has been in the family for generations.
    But the farm has been farmed at least since iron age. In 2016 we planted the first apple trees and we have been expanding the fruit production ever since. We have now around 17,000 fruit trees in total.
    We deliver the apples to sell to the markets. We also make apple products such as apple juice, apple gele and apple cider.


    In picking season you will live in a cabin/house separated from our house, with 3 bedrooms/6 beds, fully equipped including Wi-Fi.
    Working hours will be 7,5 hours a day. Flexible hours .
    We will offer minimum wage and free accomodation.

    IMPORTANT:
    We are looking for hardworking, punctual and are good on socializing and working together with others.
    In this kind of work it is important to show efficiency, quality and interest on the task to be done.
    Someone who wants to learn about apple farming.
    You should like to work outside in sun or rain, and be physically fit.
    We pick apples by hand.
    We would like you to be able to communicate in English or Norwegian.


    You will be welcome in our farm. You are welcome to join us to go hiking, and fishing. We can share good stories, about culture and good laugh.

    Nearest big town are Stavanger(2,5 hours drive with car, around 1,5 hours with the ferry) and
    Haugesund(2 hours drive with car, not posible with ferry).

    It is remote area, public transportation is limited, Only school bus and ferries.
